Why were you put on bedrest?

1~ Why were you put on bedrest?

Because of bp issues, baby b was IUGR, protein in urine etc.

2~ How many weeks were you pg when this happened?

I think I was around 20-21 wks when my bp started to really creep up and had to be watched, protein checks all the time, bedrest at home, then the beginning of my 26th wk I got put into the hosp till they were born.

3~ What # pg was this for you?

This was my 2nd. I had a textbook, normal, healthy singleton pg, born on due date, nothing ever wrong with him. etc.

 

[SIZE=12pt]I was put on bed rest at week 21. I had high blood pressure and was at risk too because I was having twins and I was 40 years old. Then at a routine ultrasound, the doctor said I had dialated 3 cm. She said I was contracting and my cervix was way too short. She immediately schedule a cerclage. So I was sewn up! I had STRICT bedrest from week 21 until week 37. I was really lucky that I made it to 38 weeks with the twins.

Oh, and yeah, it was my first, and probably last pregnancy.

1. I was put on bedrest due to an incompetent cervix.

2. I was put on bedrest at 23wks and delivered at 35wks 5days.

3. This was my 1st pregnancy.

 

1~ Why were you put on bedrest?
High Blood Pressure...we have stairs in our townhouse, and every time I went up and down, my blood pressure went up.

2~ How many weeks were you pg when this happened?
I was 36 weeks and 4 days...I had the c-section at 36 weeks and 6 days..she took them a week earlier than planned because my blood pressure sky rocketed!

3~ What # pg was this for you?
This was my first!!!

I was put on bedrest at 27 weeks due to PTL contractions. The contractions came out of no where one day and they got really close together. I had to stay overnight at the hospital for them to get the contractions to stop with terbutaline shots.

This is my first pregnancy and am on bedrest now until 34 weeks.
