16 weeks 5 days here, due date Nov. 29th. :D I don't have much to say yet, since I don't have too much experience with anything. This is my 1st pg. and it's twins. Debating on whether or not I should find out the sex. I don't think I would tell anyone I knew though.

Hi! I am 21 weeks pregnant and am feeling pain as well. I just chalk it up to ligament pain since I have no other weird symptoms. I have some older friends who had twins before and all said that the twin pregnancies were the only ones where they felt ligament pains. You are, afterall, stretching your body to accomodate two "tenants".

Althougth I never got physically sick (came close many times) I was naseous beginning two days PRIOR to finding out I was pregnant to 19 weeks. I am just starting to get my appetite back but I am still grossed out by certain foods and red meat. Sorry if I am scaring anyone out there. Just know that it does go away for some mommies to be but may return in the third trimester.

I am due December 9th. Doc says he hopes I can go until 36weeks. Already negative vibes about twins. This is my 4th pregnancy I have all boys at home. I was really sick in the beginning but it has subsided and I am actually feeling really good other than the fact I look huge. Everyone keeps saying it is because I am having twins but how much do the twins weigh and how much weight have I gained. Hope you all are doing well.

I am pretty early myself. Looking forward to some baby movements soon, I hope! And to find out the gender! No morning sickness at all, and to be honest I feel better than I did with my daughter. Just completely exhausted all the time. We get another u/s Thursday and I'm crossing my fingers that we can tell the genders. Probably too early yet, though.

This is my first time posting. I am approximately 8w 3d pregnant with twins after one successful round of Clomid. I've had 2 miscarriages (@ 6 weeks and 8 weeks) and my precious baby Gracie was born still last year at 31 weeks. What a blow! We waited almost a year after the stillbirth to try again and I could have fallen off the examination table when the doc found two heartbeats (@ about 6 weeks). I knew that I was much more tired than with my singleton and that I was growing very quickly, but I feel so blessed that God has given me two more angels. I want to me a mom more than anything and I am trying not to worry myself sick with every twinge and cramp. Unfortuantely, I don't have a "successful" pregnancy to go by, and I realize that every pregnancy is different, but I am so glad to find a place where I can listen to what other women pregnant with twins are going through.

What are you guys feeling right now? I think that I am having a bout of round ligament pain and it is scaring the dickens out of me.

Also, do any of you know how big my uterus is with twins at 8 weeks? I can't find anything about that on the net.

    Thanks!!!

I am so sorry to hear of your devastating losses. :( Congrats on your twins, however! On measurements, I've read twin moms will generally be 6-8 weeks ahead of a singleton. At my 13 week appointment, I measured 20!

SERIOUSLY!!!??? No wonder I am looking HUGE. I just saw another girl in my company today that is 10 days behind me and she has the littlest almost non-existent bump. I feel so big in comparison.

Re: pain... I have been having all kinds of weirdness today and yesterday. I have a lower groin type pulling and cramping that I'm guessing is round ligament pain and possibly my pelvic bones shifting. I also have had serious soreness across the top of my belly around my navel and just above it. I've had to rub it to make it feel better.

If I'm feeling like this at 16w2d, I can only imagine how it's going to get. I'm also not able to eat as much suddenly, like there's not room. DH things this is wild bc I was eating so much up until the past couple days. I told him I feel like I'm going to pop if I eat to much now.

I have been lurking since I found out I was having twins around 5 weeks, and I just finally registered yesterday.

I just had a preventative cerclage (history of incompetent cervix) and hoping to keep these two in there for a long time!

I spotted around 7-8 weeks- never really had a big legitamate cause for it other than I did have a pocked of blood in my uterus he thought was maybe from implantation and had not come out, and I was on progesterone, that they thought may have been irritating my cervix, all has been fine since though!

    Hello, Chris and Kerry!!

So glad to see you all come out of the woodwork!

I hear those of you who feel crappy. And like someone else said, if I'd have felt this bad with pg #1, there'd have never been a pg #2.

I have an u/s tomorrow -- not a huge deal since I get one every week  -- but it's a more detailed one with measurements, etc... think there's a chance to see sexes yet, or still a bit too early??

Hello Everyone! I'm at 14 1/2 weeks (I think...the weeks are starting to blend together!). I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks & found out one baby is definitely a boy and the other one is "almost definitely" a boy too. It depends on how cooperative the babies are with their positions. It's also obviously much easier to tell if the baby is a boy. :winking0009:

Do any of you ever have horrible insomnia?? I'm up at 3:04 a.m. Normally I'm exhausted by 9 and asleep by 10 but once a week or so I start thinking waaaaaaayyyy too much about caring for twins & can't sleep. I feel so sorry for my poor kids! I'm going to be so grumpy when they are up in 4 hours!!

I'm 18 weeks, I had awful morning sickness, indigestion, constipation then I had the flu for a month! it was during this time I started bleeding (really horrible and frightening) I had that on and off for about a month and I have been cruising for the last few weeks. I've been getting some pain in my butt, feels like nerve pain - probably sciatica - and round ligament pain. Other than that and my increasingly frustrating wardrobe malfunctions all is well :D
CANT WAIT to find out the gender of my babies - in 7 days time (and counting)

I get the headaches every 2-3 days and they last for at least a day. I've had a lot of stretching and pulling and some sharp pains as well as some weird cramp type feelings right over the pubic bone. All normal according to the nurses. <_< QUOTE

I get a lot of headaches too, though I am prone to headaches in general. I was about to post and ask about those cramps. I get them too, just above my pubic bone and sometimes one side (or the other) of my uterus. Weird. They are not all that painful but just uncomfortable and 'tight'. I was worried that they might be Braxton Hicks but at 18wks I thought, surely it's too early!

I'm due B) 12/9/2007 and I have just entered my 16th week. I already have 3 older children 12,9, and 5. They were easy pregnancies compared to this one. The babies are dong great. I have an U/S on 7/11/2007 I'm looking forward to knowing what they are rigth now I just call them Inky and Stinky since the sex is undetermined. I wish all the mom's to be the best of luck. The begining was really hard but so far so good. I'm blessed.

It's not too early for BH at all. I thought I was having them and it was confirmed when we saw one during a 13w3d u/s.

I seem to get a lot of cramoing/pain as well, just above the pubic bone and up my left side. Glad to know others are having it, too, and it's likely normal.
