What does your screen name mean?

You must have read my mind . I have seriously been meaning to post this for about a week! It's a little eerie! Great minds think alike . There are quite a few names I have been curious about on here.

Mine is pretty simple. With the addition of twins, there are now three children in the house and two adults so we are outnumbered! Also, as I am always telling my girls when they decide to fuss simultaneously: two babies, one mama!

Names I WANTED to use but were taken were Twinsane and Twinspired so I just use those on MySpace!

 

Mine is because when I found out I was having girls I wrote it like that on the mirror of our bathroom in lipstick for my DH to find. I was so very shocked that it was girls. I was convinced it was boys or even boy/girl. I didn't have a preference whatsoever but I was still shocked. So glad we got them!

 

Mine is Heathermomof5 because that is who I am!! not really creative I know!!!

Well, you can definitely count me in as a member of the "non-creative" crowd!!!

 

I didn't find Twinstuff until my girls were about three months old... and I was home alone with them all day while my husband worked. Everyone kept asking him how Trish and the girls were doing. It almost seemed like I was a new person. No longer Trish, now I was Trishandthegirls. So trishandthegirls seemed the right thing to do for my screen name.

We never call our two "the twins", they're always "the girls" or "the ladies". I don't know why...

 

daisydoll is part for my yahoo email. My best friend had her daughter 1 week after we graduated for high school and she named her daisy. So that is where Daisy comes from and she is a doll.

 

when my sister was little, she called me meme (instead of Miriam) and the a.k.a (also known as) in front.

i use it online a lot.

Not too exciting - our last name is Bender and we have boys! We were going to name one of the boys Richard...just kidding.

Mine's pretty boring--all of my children's names start with "G" and I am their mom so "G-Mom". It will be changing back to my original one-per Jenny's request -RondaJo--my first and middle names.

 

Well, it used to be ihavefivesons.......and then I had the twins, so it turned into ihavesevensons........I guess that I will need to change it again soon, since I am having another boy........maybe someday I will get around to changing it and, it will be ihaveeightsons!!!!!!

 

Mine is my name Nikki and 0724 is my birthday july 24. very simple

 

In high school I worked at a day care and my co-counselor was named Sara. The kids (5th Graders) called her Sara-Lee (you know, the name brand?), and then I became Amy-Lee, which morphed into Amily. and I was born in 1974.

Not too excting, but at least there's a bit of a story.

What a fun and interesting topic!

I first got online back in 1995 and needed a screenname. I originally picked LittleBrownBird because my name (Phoebe) is also the name of a little brown bird. Similarly, I am "little" from a height perspective (barely 5'0" on a good day) and "brown-skinned" (both of my parents are from the Philippines; in actuality, I am pretty light-skinned, lol). Anyway, back in those early Internet days, I think there was a 10-character limit for the service I was using so I shortened it to LilBrwnBrd and it has stuck ever since.

 

I never had a nickname growing up, so when I got married, my friends all adopted my last name as my new nickname...so it's the letter of my first name, kelly, and an appreviated version of my last name, norton...makes k-norts. Kind of stuck with me!

 

"Fluffhead" is the name of a song by the band Phish. DH and I were huge Phish fans (and still are, although they are no longer together) -- it's how we ended up getting together in the first place

I bet how you got together is an interesting story! I liked Phish too!

 

I can't say mine is very interesting. Just took my name and put its in front of it. Makes it sound like an announcement. You would think it took me a short time to come up with that one, however, it did take a while.

 

Mine's not too original, I live on the bald-a$$ prairie with 3 kids!! These are so neat, it makes me want to be more creative and change it.

Yes! G-mom nice and all but I loved your "old" name! The street that I live off of is named Ronda Lee and Kathy Jo lane is a few streets down. I was going to make you a picture of your very own Grand Junction street sign!

Mine's not actually my name. It's the name I want to use if I ever have a daughter. It's not so original either, it comes from the movie Maverick (the riverboat in the movie is named the Lauren Belle). But I thought it was such a pretty name. Then I ended up having 2 boys!! LOL And it figures I never had any boys names in mind when I was younger!

 

Well mine is pretty self explanatory. Every time you use it, you will own me $100, cauz I own the rights to it.

I'm not an ax murderer or anything - most people read mine as something Ax but my daughters' and even my dogs name begins with an A so it's AandA (my two daughers) the x is a divider and 2/4 is one daughters birthday and 4/6 is the second daughter's birthday so the 4 is a shared number. By the way Happy birthday to my baby tomorrow!

 

Mine relates to my daughter Katherine. She loved butterflies and we gave her a butterfly birthday when she turned a year old. When she died I found out that butterflies are symbolic of a short life. Anyway, that may sound sad but butterflies ALWAYS bring a smile to my face when I see one. It's a very happy memory of Katherine.

Mine's because I love snoopy and collect snoopy everything that I can get my hands on and for the boys...snoopytwins. Nothing too creative but works for me.

 

I was tired adn hungry and I despratley needed answers to questions I had so I use a saying I said to DH a lot" I want some weee little Malones "to get on the boards quickly and I have never changed it I probably should ! :fool:
