OMG, LOL!!! I had tears coming from my eyes on this one!

I sometimes call my 3 year old "monkey" (hence my screen name). As for the babies, I usually call them by their real names but sometimes we call Kyle Spewy Lewis (sounds like singer Huey Lewis) because he constantly spits up. Also, some of our family has taken to the nickname (started by our pediatrician) "Hoss" because he is a big boy! For Addison, I sometimes call her Addy Waddy, Missy Moo Moo, or little girl.

HAHAHAHAHHAHA The bolded one made me laugh.. SO HARD! Because in the hospital, our Brandon was the bigger one, with a bald head, and a squishy old man face, and DH said "omg he looks like Uncle Fester" ... HAHAHAHA How FUNNY that you say this, not only about one of your babies, but about your Brandon!!! How cute!!!! Can I so totally copy/paste your post to my DH in an email? He's going to laugh his booty off. LOL!!

We call Owen "Tough" and Kathryn "Bug" or "Buggy" for ladybag. Owen was about 5 pounds when we brought him home and had a onesie with Tough Guy on it. To see someone so tiny with that on his shirt and after all the heel sticking he went through in the NICU it just stuck because he was tough and such a trooper. I just started calling Kathryn ladybug and it was eventually shortened to Bug, Bugs or Buggy. It's just cute and fits her!

Usually, their brother's name. Oops. And to think I used to make fun of my mom for this! :fool:

But seriously, my older twin, Nolan, has some extra...girth...so he is Noly-Poly from time to time. And Bennett is Sir-Poops-A-Lot. No explanation needed, I presume.

OMG, that is too funny! Oh sure, definitely tell your DH there is another Uncle Fester clone whose real name is also Brandon, LOL. My husband and I have joked that for Halloween Brandon can be Uncle Fester and that Colin can be Baby Gomez (part his hair down the middle and draw a little mustache on him) :)

I call them whatever pops out of my mouth!

Doodle bug, doodle doo, pumpkin, punkin, punkers, sweetheart, baby, princess, little man, boogie boo, boo bear, baby cakes, sugarplum...I'm sure there is more! ;)

Don't worry, whatever you call them eventually they will learn their name! Both babies turn to me when I call their given names

When my boys were little, I called them "skunky butt"! LOL! Don't know where it came from (maybe the 12 poopy diapers I changed a day), but actually posted a thread about nicknames then b/c I thought I was so weird. Now they are "buddy" and "monkey".
