50 pounds exactly and I was overweight before pregnancy. I gained 3 pounds my first trimester but really made some huge gains in the final months (much of it was water). I lost 45 pounds in the first coulple weeks from babies/fluids/etc. The 5 remaining were actual weight gain and took another 6 weeks or so. I've lost an additional 15 since then. Breastfeeding and putting the babies in the stroller and going for a walk daily did the trick for me.

FWIW, many of my old clothes still don't fit. I gave up and bought new clothes. The weird part is that they're the same size as things I wore before pregnancy buy my shape changed so I have to buy things that fit differently.

I was 10-20lbs underweight to start and I gained right at 30lbs by 33 weeks when we delivered. The girls were 3lbs 13oz and 3lbs 11oz. and I lost my weight within 6 weeks, and dropped some more through breastfeeding. I had a lot of iV fluid in the hospital and swelled up a lot in the 2-3 days after I gave birth. I gained about 5-8lbs when I weaned, which is a good thing for me. I think it all depends on your metabolism and genetics.
