    My sister named her daughter Ellannah (pronounced Alana) and they call her Ella for short (you could also try Elle for short). I have a friend by the name of Ariel (very pretty). I really like Annelisa or Analise. There are so many....

    ummm, always a hard one.
    The names I almost chose for my girls were:

    Quinn & Reese

    I actually had Skye picked out for this pregnancy ( which turned out to be a boy) but I also really liked Charlie, Neve, Piper, Briar and Brynn for a girl too.

    Hope that gives you some ideas, good luck!

    I have a cousin who's name is Spring and she always liked being the only spring in town. cheers, p

    my girlies.....

    My daughters name is Gracyn had to pick something out to go with Garrett (dh choice). A doctor that I know just named his daughter Lucia (italian name) they are going to call her Lucy. I didn't like it at first but I think that it is growing on me. Lola that is also a cute name I think (another one of those names that has to grow on you)
    A friend of mine has a daughter named Evie love that one.

    Good luck I know how hard it is to find names that you both agree on.

    My name is Tashina, it is very unique/unusual. I come from a family of unusual names; my brother's names are Buster and Buddy, and my sister's name is Mejette (kind of a French twist to Michelle). Good luck!

    My little sister is Ayla Soliel, my name is Oona Alexis and I grew up in an area of northern CA where unusual names are a norm;

    Kishi, Autumn, Faun, Cinnamon, Raven, Mimosa, Manuka, Ruby, Savanna, Jade, Mischa, Nyomi, Aza pronounced Ay-za, Kyaila, Marisol, Kynan (boy's name), Redwood (boy), Ilanna, Katya, Isa, Yohanna, Olean, Maldon, Lila pronounced Lie-la, Petra, Marina... you get the picture.

    If we had had a girl, we had agreed on the name Neela.

    I'm having a boy & girl and decided to forgo the whole matchy-matchy thing as well. Our little boy is Woods Macoy and the little girl is Audrey Makay - Macoy and Addie. Both our names are family name so we made everyone happy [IMG]

    Other names we really liked that are sort what uncommom were Addison, Addelyn, Amelia, Madelyn, Leela and Lexi. We also have some friends that named their little girl Spring and she fits it perfect!!

    Good luck!! I'm 28 weeks along and fretted over names for awhile. You might be able to research yur families 'trees' (first, last and maiden) and find some really unique names that way.

    A previous poster mentioned the name Brynn (spelled differently?) which I have always liked. I love the combination Brynn and Paige. Simple yet not too common. They both seem to go well with Karis too. (By the way, that is a gorgeous name, I have a friend who has a granddaughter named Karis!)

    Good luck, and have fun finding the perfect names for your sweeties!
