Okay, do you guys know Taylor is only like 16 ??? That is kinda gross. I think he's a little gay IMO.

That's so funny you say that. I was just thinking the other day that I was thinking that a 16 year old looks hot. Made me feel kind of perverted. I still think he is cute for his age and he is definitely in good shape. I do not think is gay but these days you never know. It just annoys me that people would think that just because they are so ridiculously obssessed with RP (or Edward).

I also think that Dakota Fanning would be great as Jane. She is such a good actress, and she has that beautiful face that Jane is described as having. I would love to see her play a role like this.

Found this article, thought I'd share.

Great article Mel! :) Dakota looks great in that picture too. I am glad that Emmett and Alice like the script and that they think fans will appreciate it. What a relief!

Okay, I know I am coming in a little late on this one, but I have to share my two cents.

I just read the Twilight Series, all four books in six days... yeah they were that good! Anyway, so as soon as I closed book 4 I was online downloading Twilight. This was before I realized that its still in some theaters! I watched it, poor quality, missed scenes and all. It wasnt nearly as good as the books, but it was good enough for me to preorder. lol.

A few things, Edward looks pretty similar to how I pictured him when I read, Bella not as much, but not totally off... like Jacob. That is not how he looked in my head. Charlie doesnt look the same either. No biggie. Oddly enough James looked exactly how I imagined. Anyway, The girl who plays Bella, her teeth were SO ANNOYING by the end. Am I the only one who thinks so?

Oh and I have a hard time thinking that the SIXTEEN year old who plays Jacob is cute. Just kinda icky to me. LOL!

So, DH and I are going on a date to see it tomorrow. I am excited. I'll come back and let you know if video quality changes my opinion. :D

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to the Twinstuff Twilight family! Never too late to join us. Glad you loved the books (as we all do ;) ). They are truly amazing.

Wish you wouldn't have watched the crappy quality version on the internet but I can only imagine how desperate you felt to see it after reading the books (It was torture waiting for it to come out in theaters!). I'm interested to hear your view after seeing the movie. I went in with low expectations that it would be "great" but came out pleasantly surprised and pleased. I saw it twice in the theater and I loved it even more the second time. Can't wait for the dvd but more importantly, can't wait until New Moon comes to theaters on Nov. 20th!!!!

Let us know what you thought about the movie.

Okay, so that kid has a very nice body, but ewwwww, I feel like a dirty old woman even watching that clip, LOL. I'm old enough to be his mother! But, I can't wait to see what they do with the next movie.

Oh, and listen to this -- I actually talked my DH into reading Twilight. We made a deal -- I would watch Friday Night Lights (and now I'm totally hooked) if he'd read it. I'm curious to see if he likes it enough to go on and read the rest of them. :)

Me too! Me too! I can't wait to see the whole relationship thing between her and Jacob. I think seeing how much he cares for her on screen will make it even more sad then when I read it (even though the whole time I was like...NOOOOOOOO, YOU CAN'T HOOK UP WITH HIM BELLA, YOU LOVE EDWARD AND HE LOVES YOU!!) I think after I read it the second time (and I got over my obssession with the whole Edward thing) I actually felt sorry for Jacob. I think his character is more the kind of person I would want to be with than Edward. I know you can only follow your heart but I loved Jacob's sense of humor (Edward had very little of that) and how protective he was of Bella (much of what I loved about Edward). There are so many scenes I'm looking forward to seeing in this movie. The heartbreak (though I know I will probably cry hysterically), the motorcycle scene with Jacob where she hears his voice, seeing Bella, jump over the cliff, and of course the whole scene in Italy. It's going to be so great.

OMG yes Mel! You hit it on the head! I definitely felt bad for Jake, and I know the movie will make me feel even worse for him (esp. now that I finished Breaking Dawn :bad: :bad: Can someone please say "Ewwwwww, gross! :bad:). Thanks for sharing the art work and Heather, thanks for telling us about the Eclipse release date.

It will be interesting to see how different/alike all the movies are since it looks like they're all going to have a different director.

I like the artwork and the use of "the twilight saga", I think that fits.

I'm back!!! What is wrong with me???

So I actually think I love Dakota Fanning for Jane. I have to disagree with some of you & say as she gets older, she can do creepy. Oh, and my new claim to fame....sort of......ok, it's lame but our local petting zoo has Delilah, the Twilight deer!! :) How sad would it be to use the kids as an excuse to go pet it???

And please don't shoot me - Jacob's muscles creeped me out! :) They looked like little alien balls wiggling in his arms. I like a good body same as the next girl, but it was kinda weird. He seems adorable, though & perfect for the part.

Where are you all preording Twilight? Amazon?

Anyone read SM's other book, The Host? Just finished it & really liked it!

Oh, and the books on CD.....I know this is probably technically wrong, but when I got them from the library I downloaded them to my ipod. I don't have a cd player that work anymore! Took me awhile to get used to the girl's voice who reads.....she doesn't really do different voices for the different characters. But I think listening to the cd's, I pick up more details b/c I can't skim when I get impatient! :)

Welcome back Naomi. where have you been girl??

Don't tell me you actually have a life outside of the TS and Twilight stuff :p

Seriously, I have a copy of The Host (I've had it since I read BD) but haven't been able to open it yet. I'm so busy writing my own novel right now that I find I'd rather write with any given quiet moment I have than to read plus I feel like I want to get my story down without any influence of other material (if that makes sense).

As for Dakota, I think she will do an awesome job. I really do like her and I can totally picture her in a creepy role like Jane.

I think Taylor looks great. He's been obviously working out really hard so he could get the part and I know he doesn't want to disappoint his fans. I can't wait to see him in the role of Jacob again.

Would you say that The Host was equally as good as Twilight? In terms of how much you liked it? Did you feel like you couldn't put it down? I have heard from several that it's a very slow start but then somwhere around the middle of the book BAM it takes off. Did you feel that too?

Anyway, hope you are doing well and I have a feeling that as we start to get our dvds that we will have more actiivty here again and of course as soon as NM starts filming and we get more info and clips, we will all be chatting away. BTW, ordered mine from Amazon.

Eclipse comes out on my birthday!!!! Yay me !!!!

Thanks for the article Walker. Hmmm...wonder why they are using a third and different director. The reason didn't make sense to me. Why can't they just film the movies back to back or simultaneously. Unless he means that he will be too busy with all the editing and after filming stuff to do it. I don't know, seems weird but whatever.

Melanie.....sadly, I don't have a life! We just got busy being sick, mostly & I think I kind of ran out of things to say, Twilight-related. Guess that should have been a clue that it's time to read them again! Just got Twilight on cd, though....I haven't been going in order with the cd's b/c I have to wait for whatever the library has.

I don't really know if I can say I loved Twilight more than The Host......probably, simply b/c there was so much more to it with all the books & she really got deeper into the characters. I think The Host probably would have a slow start for some.....to me, it was about chapter 3 that was slow & then a few parts after that seemed to lag. But no, I couldn't put it down. That's me, though.....I get strangely obsessed with most books I read. I can understand not wanting to read while you're writing, though; that totally makes sense.

    Cheater! :p

I won't do the bootleg copy thing. It's illegal and monitarily effects the people who did the really hard work to make the films (including SM who I would imagine gets a percentage from the sales of the dvds unless she had a one time pay off for the rights to make the movie).

I will wait for my legit copy. But then again, I guess if I was as in love with Edward as you are that I may feel differently. It's amazing what people will do to get a fix on of their drug of choice

Thank you for posting. As HARD as it is, I am desperately trying to wait until I get the dvd. It's only a few more weeks and I want to be able to watch all of the deleted scenes one after the other. I saw that they were on Youtube and I was soooooooooooo tempted to watch. I'm practically breaking out in a sweat knowing it's right there in front of me but alas, I will do my best to be strong and hold out for the dvd. It will make receiving it all the more exciting for me. But I hope those of you that do watch it, love it.

I can't wait until we all have our dvds so we can discuss all the extra deleted scenes!!!!

I gotta go see how much amazon is.......
