The most annoying question

First of all, I don't understand what the man has to do with twins? How is having sex with your s.o. going to make your egg split or you drop more than one egg? His sperm isn't that powerful! The ones that bother me the most are the comments, "you are going to have your hands full." "OH, you are lucky your children are old enough to help out." Okay first of all, Duh, but I am looking forward to it. I work at a daycare... I am not intimidated by 2 babies crying at once. I do it daily. As far as my other children, I have a teenager, 2 tweenys, and a 2nd grader.... You really think they are going to help out? Not as much as you would think! I can't even get them to put their dishes away without asking, clean their rooms in a timely manner, or pick up dirty clothes, and you think I am going to get them to do what? Change a diaper? LOL!

 

I had a nurse ask me if they were IVF twins and I asked her politely if it made a difference. She made a great comment and said that with IVF there is an understanding that the pregnancy took alot of work and possible history of problems (such as miscarriage, etc.) also there was an increase in blood pressure issues. I mentioned that with IVF the blood pressure issues may be caused by the possible increased maternal age of the mother. I'm glad I asked the question since I would have just thought all these doc and nurses were just nosey.
