This place has been very quiet lately (Telkom is apparently still holding Brenda hostage ) so I am posting this here.

Adrian and I both went to university today but we went (and came home) separately. We finished our last box of tissues yesterday so on the way back from university I stopped at a shop to buy some more boxes.

About 15 or 20 minutes after I arrived home, Adrian walks in the door with another box of tissues. Apparently the woman at the shop we bought the boxes from looked at Adrian strangely but didn't say anything. Obviously she thinks Adrian is crazy for buying two boxes, changing clothes and then buying another box all within about 20 minutes

 

It has been quite dead of late! Has university already started for yous??

At least you wont have to buy tissues for awhile

 

Not yet but we still have things to do there.

True I went by the shop again later and I considered buying another box of tissues just to see how the woman would react. I decided against it in the end though

 

I think you should of done it to see the reaction she made, it would have made your day more lighter by laughter

Maybe but I was carrying 6 litres of milk and didn't feel like carrying anything else.

6Ls of milk, wow not enough, sure you dont need more?

well yes indeed, but id have to buy more. When I move out I wont have milk in the house.. or tea or coffee so people will have to suffer

 

We don't have any coffee because neither of us drink it (and the smell is horrible ). We do have some tea but don't drink it that often so it lasts a while. Our mother used to (probably still does) keep a few bottles of coca cola in the cellar which she would either offer to people when they came to visit or use to unclog drains. I always thought it was amusing to tell people this when they were drinking it.

 

oh gosh, i dont think ill be drinking it ever again, thanks for that information you made my night eww thats bad if it unclogs drains, yuk! I am the only one in my house who doesnt drink either tea or coffee but am asked to make them :blink:

 

It probably isn't a problem if you don't drink too much of it but I still think it is funny. I have to do something for entertainment after all

I used to make our parents coffee occasionally when I was younger, I doubt it tasted very nice though. I have forgotten how to make it now anyway

 

It is funny but gross to think of what it can do, thankfully not a huge fan of coke itself it has way to much sugar in it. Yes you can entertain

My mums teas easy, a teabag and hot water. simple lol. Coffee stinks so bad! always easier to forget these things
