I have two swings and two bouncy chairs too.
We constantly use both of our swings. The babies sleep in them during the day. I don't know what I'd do without them! I also have two older girls and pretty much the only place the babies are safe and where I know the two older ones won't bother them (and wake them up by showering them with kisses!) is in their swings. With my older two, we stopped using the swings around 6 months (they just weren't interested in being in them anymore) but for those first couple of months, for me, swings are essential!
I like having two bouncy chairs as well, but having two swings is more important fo me!

I didn't read through all the other posts, but I'm guessing you got a wide variety of answers here.

We had two swings, and my girls loved them and we could not have made it without two. Someone gave us two bouncy seats and while we did use them to do solid feedings in the beginning, that was about it. My girls just were not fond of them and we could have survived without having even one.

BUY A SWING YOU CAN PLUG INTO ELECTRICITY !! Saves you a ton on batteries. (1 swing 1 bouncer) Buy a LARGE bouncer like one that turns into a toddler chair -- great for big babies too -- especially reflux babies.

It's nice to have lots of things that way you can keep some in different parts of the house (up/downstairs if you have 2 floors). It's enough work carrying around the babies never mind the equipment!!! You can always bring them to a consignment shop when your done using them and make a few $$$.
