I am sick to death of the filing I've been working on today, so I think it's time for a distraction.

    Q&A time!

I'll ask a question. You answer it and pose another for the next person. Questions can be about absolutely anything.

    So here's mine:

Haha, can I use it for myself? If so, I would invest it in laser hair removal :), it's a dream of mine.

Question: If you had a chance to go back in time and have a chat with your 18 year old self, what is the one thing you would tell her?

Cooking housekeeper. I'm a SAHM with a non cooking hubby and 5 kids. She can clean and cook, HE can massage me.

Night of the Living Dead or The Walking Dead?
  24. twin_trip_mommy

    twin_trip_mommy Well-Known Member

OT but have to comment. We have 5 also but I work FT. I would vote the total opposite lol. He cleans and cooks pretty well so he can continue with that and I will leave the house for a couple hours once a week for a massage :D

I was a telesurveyor. I called people, at their homes, usually during dinner to inquire about a DoE survey about post secondary education. It was terrible!

    Most hated household chore.

A lot of pillows on the bed or only a few?
  30. kingeomer

    kingeomer Well-Known Member TS Moderator

Only a few pillows. I need one under my head and one over my head. I have a weird sleep ritual. Thanks to years of chronic insomnia.

I don't think I saw this one...but what skill do you wish you had learned? (for me it's sewing...I can do very basic repairs but I wish I could make clothes, pillows, etc..)
  31. ECUBitzy

    ECUBitzy Well-Known Member

I wish I knew how to knit or crochet! I am insanely jealous of people who can, but I don't think it's something I can teach myself.

What is your FAVORITE memory from the first year with twinfants?
  32. twinmom2dana

    twinmom2dana Well-Known Member

Favorite memory, so many but the best was the day they came home. We were blessed with a short NICU stay compared to others, 11 days, but it was the worse 11 days of my life. I had a tension/grief headache the whole time they were in the hospital, trying to still function and mother my other 2 children with a headache so bad they did CAT scans, nothing could ease the pain. We were a week in when the docs/nurses realized just how upset I was leaving them everyday, and determined that the stress was causing the pain. The day we picked them up and went home, instant relief (after a good long cry)

    Girly girl or Tomboy (you)

  34. jolcia17

    jolcia17 Well-Known Member

I had 300 people. People consider that big I guess. But my brothers and a lot of people I know had over 500 so I think mine is average lol

Do you owe any pets? so how many and what kind?
  35. ljcrochet

    ljcrochet Well-Known Member TS Moderator

It is so easy to crochet. I tauught myself. At first I could only do a chain, then I learned all the stictches.

I have 2 dogs. Cloe is almost 9. She is an English Springer Spaniel. Russel is a rescue mutt. He is part German Shepard, part Sharpai, part who knows.

Do you want to read a book, or watch a movie.
