Our Four Month Appointment - my big girls!

    OK, so it happened at about 4.5 months, but - given that they were 3 weeks early, i think it still counts. They are doing GREAT, the pedi said they are no longer even considered preemies and are hitting milestones (although she did demand more tummy time, gulp!)

    My little Tessa, born at 4lbs 9 oz, 17 inches, with TTTS and a transfusion the night she was born was 11.86 lbs and 22 inches! Two months ago it would take her an hour to eat 2oz of ebm, now she is guzzling 4 oz at at time in ten minutes! So i can stop worrying about her growth and weight, which had been a real source of stress for me.

    Danielle, born 4lbs 12oz, 17 inches, was 13.46lbs and 23 inches! (she latches and nurses and eating has NEVER been a problem, she's got chunky monkey thighs!

    When i think that they have grown five and six inches in just a few months - incredible. They are so smiley and delicious, it's just amazing watching them and being w/them.

    That's great! Way to go mom! Things start to get more fun around 4 months!!

    Congratulations! As a mom who worries about weight and growth for one of her girls, I can imagine how exciting it must be to have the pedi tell you what a great job you're doing and how healthy both of your girls are!! Enjoy them...

    I'm so happy they're doing so well. I know you were stressed about feedings for awhile there. I'm glad to hear it's gotten better! I agree...babies are delicious!
