Hi I'm also 7 weeks pregnant with fraternal IVF Twins and no morning sickness. I hope it stays like that, but I hear you on wanting to feel something just so you know that everything is going ok. I just saw my twins on the u/s yesterday and their little hearts just beating away and I already want to see them again just to make sure that everything is fine. My ER was 9/5/08 and my ET was 9/8/08 and got my positive beta on 9/19/08. So you are about a week ahead of me. Good luck in your pregnancy and hope that we both get through this whole thing without much sickness and end up with happy healthy twins.

Yes, let's hope we do both get through this with all our little twins! I think hearing that there are so many other people on this forum didn't really experience morning sickness makes me feel better. If I hadn't had a miscarriage a year ago (also w/no morning sickness) I wouldn't be so worried. Anyway, I have my 8 week appointment in a few days. I pray all goes well! For you too! Keep me in the loop, it's nice to see there are others out there due around the same time!

    Hi,

I never got a lick of MS - not with my singelton and not this time either - so no worries, just try and feel lucky about it. Even though I know deep down it may offer some reassurance - sometimes I woke up wishing for it.....

I had some PMS-type cramping with the boys for the first week or so after I found out I was pregnant and that was it for my entire pregnancy. No m/s, no other cramping, no boob soreness, no nothing!!!!

This time around...it's been the total opposite.

I say I was lucky last time and you are with your twins!

    Congratulations!

My girls were IVF- and no MS. Not one puke- ever....some nausea, but I also took antibiotics my entire pregnancy, which can make your stomach a bit uneasy. Weeks- 26-31 (delivery) were the worst since I felt 'full' nausea all the time instead of MS.

it's SOO individual. Some of us never had while others didn't get it until 8 weeks or later. Try not to worry.

I have to go in tomorrow for another u/s since I had some spotting Sunday and Yesterday. It was brownish, and the OB said that it was probably old blood finding it's way out, but she wants to be sure. Say a little prayer for me. And I will keep praying for your beans that they stay stuck.

Congrats to you on yoru IVF babies!!! We are IVF babies too! I had no symptons either but I went to acupuncture to ensure that. As hard as it was to relax (since infertility teaches you none of that) I really wanted to enjoy my pregnancy.

I went for ACU too. Loved it. Went all the way through my 3rd and 4th IVF cycles and kept going until a week ago. I think I will go back this week just for a little added boost to keep my babies sticking.

I have not experienced any morning sickness. I was very tired though. That began at about week 7 or 8 and lasted exactly to week 12. I was also extremely hungry right from the start. I don't know how normal or abnormal that was b/c this is my first pregnancy.

count your blessings... i never had morning sickness really.. only a few times did i get sick in either pregnancy... but the acid reflux and sciatic nerve in my lower back were much bigger culprits... if you feel good now, take every advantage of it... i was very tired throughout the twin pregnancy, so i recommend naps if possible... but don't wish the symptoms upon yourself, you may be one of the lucky ones :)

At 8 1/2 weeks the m/s kicked in. I almost wish I would throw up. The constant state of nausea is the worst. Eating helps, but not always. Just thought I would through this in.

Hi Vyckie - how did everything go with the spotting? Sorry, I just read this today! I'm guessing you are okay? I've been experiencing on agan/off again spotting since week 6, but so far everything is okay.

Well I'm 9.5 weeks now and still no morning sickness or tiredness. Babies are still okay so I guess that is all that matters!

The u/s went great and both babies are measuring right on target. It was very reassuring to see their little hearts just beating away. I think the h/b were 156 and 160. Haven't had anymore spotting so I think that it was from the vaginal inserts and now I just don't insert as far up. Sorry for the TMI. Thanks for asking.

I had zero morning sickness with the twins as well. We had no indication whatsoever that we were having twins until our 1st u/s at 19 weeks.

In contrast, I was sick all day for weeks with my singleton.

    Every pregnancy is different. :)

That's good to hear. My doctor told me that with twins you will occasionally have spotting and to try not to worry unless it is heavy, and then to call them to come in. But it doesn't help ease my mind even knowing that. Like I said, I had some spotting a few weeks ago.. and then occasionally i have it like once a week but only a teeny tiny bit. I just went in yesterday for my 9 week u/s and both babies are still doing fine so I feel relieved. I think the great thing about having twins is that you get to have more ultrasounds which provides peace of mind... I have another one next week with the high risk doctor.
