How awful does this sound: This and That. Nevan is This and Norah is That. As in, take this and give me that... I call Norah - Missy Moo. Nevan gets called puggy because he snorts like a pug.

We've been trying to avoid using nicknames yet but failing miserably at it! :D I really wanted their nicknames to emerge organically, not because we're too lazy to say their full names. hehe But they get called all kinds of things already.

McKenna - Mickey, McKayKay and baby goat or billie goat or just billie (because of the sounds she makes when she's about to get fussy)
Genevieve - Jenna, Jenna Vee Vee (i guess is how you'd spell that) and McGee (because of the sound she makes when she cries:"hmm gee." Its very cute!)

They both get called Miss Thing, Baby Girl and Pumpkin or Pumpkinhead.

My oldest DD was called pumkinhead for years because her head was SO big as a baby! And I called my DS "Booger Bear" 'til he was 3 when a little kid heard me call him that and was mortified that i'd named my son "booger"! :rotflmbo: After his sister was born, he was called "Bubba" for years. But now I'm showing my southern roots!

    Fun thread!

I don't think I ever call mine by their given name!!

Samuel - Everyone since before birth has called him Sam, (although I really like Samuel better), peanut, Sam I am, and wee man (dh started that one, but I love it!)

Emily - Emmy Mae (first and middle name shortened), Em, pumpkin, and pudding (DH started that one also, and for some reason it seems appropriate!)
