I've been getting my cervix checked internally since 16 weeks. That's when i started going every two weeks and I haven't had a problem.

Regardless, that is TOO OFTEN!!! You won't have a problem.. until you have a problem if you get what I'm saying.

That is highly unusual for them to do this. Do you have an incompetent cervix w/ cerclage???

Pls do a little more research on this before you allow it to continue. It's for your own good :)

 I glad it seems to be all good news!

Talk to your doc. about the checks. I had them bi weekly from 16-28 weeks by US wand and then a few times manually at 30weeks to delivery. Manually is MUCH more painful/uncomfortable, etc. They were watching for IC and monitoring due to high contractions...if you are having complications, early detection of funneling, cercical changes may make a huge difference in treatment! In our situation--I was on bedrest for 11 weeks, with litle cervix and contractions. I think my Dr was very proactive in monitoring if my contractions were affecting anything. I personally believe that the checks are one of the things that helped me carry as long as I did (32 weeks). I easily could have delivered earlier.

Your Dr knows best---if you are worried get a second opinon. EVERY pregnancy is different and only your Dr knows your situation.

Grow Parker and Charlotte grow!!! Glad to hear the good news!

a 3 oz difference for frats is great. My frats were 10 oz apart with no problems, perfectly normal.

Great appt!! How far along are you now?

    Thank You all....

I am 21 weeks and 4 days at this point and I think those weights seem pretty good...? I will follow up with the doc on the cervix checks just to be sure I should keep doing them.

I have been getting BH lately but nothing to write home about - seems like when I haven't had enough to drink they tend to act up a bit. I am working so much and am so tired all of the time, but no different then all of us on here right.... ;)

Again, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for caring so much about me and my sweet babies..... :D
