My Boys Came(Sad)

Thank you everyone. Had I went further in the pregnancy I would have lost both boys so I am thankful in a way that I got to keep one of them. Christopher is doing great. He and his big brother will both know what a little fighter Cayden was. It just turned out all the bad outweighed the good in his 3 day fight. It helps to have Christopher and my 5 year old Damon to focus on now.

 

I am so sorry for you loss of Cayden. We lost Rowan at 2 days old due to a lung hemorrhage, her twin is now home and doing well. Please stop by the parental grief page. The ladies are wonderful. So glad to hear that Christopher is doing well.

I posted in your H1N1 thread... but just wanted to say Congratulations on the birth of your two boys. I'm so glad that Christopher is doing well. And I am so sorry for the loss of your little Cayden.

 

I am so sorry about your son. It is heartbreaking.

I am concerned that you were not induced when you thought it would happen. I am almost sure you said it would be on the 22nd. I truly hope that everything was done that could have been done and I am glad to read you are finding peace through out this horrible situation. :hug:

Thank you everyone. It means alot to me. Sorry I have been on and off and haven't really had time to reply.
I tell everyone to hold on tight and never let go because you don't know how much time you have. I hold on tight to both my boys every night now. I am recovering good from my c-section. Apparently no one I know has seen anyone bounce back so quickly. But then I never really had a choice with everything that has happened since I had my precious little ones. Friday is Cayden's memorial service so there has been alot of running around this week. I don't know what I would have done without my sister as she has handled most of the details for me because its too hard for me.
My induction was actually scheduled for Monday Oct. 26 permitting there were no emergency labours. With my amnio they had actually tested Cayden's fluid and his lungs measured extremely high for development. I can't remember how they measure them but his lungs measured 134. Which is almost a hundred over what they deem safe. I gotta go get some sleep though. My lil squeaker will be awake soon again.
So please everyone hold on tight to your children. If I have learnt anything in the last two weeks its that they are precious and you just never know.
