1.) Did you go into spontanous labor or where you induced? How far along where you? I went in for my 37 or 38 week appt and found out I was 5 cm dialated. I was told to come back after lunch and they would break my water. I was 37 w 6 d.

2.) How many centimeters dialated where you when you got your epi?
Is it possible that I could have been 10??? The minute the anesthesiologist started to clean my back to give me the epi, I needed to push. They just got the test dose in me and not the full dose (don't ask me the difference - but I could feel my toes whereas I couldn't with my singleton).

3.) How long did you labor?
Water was broken about 2:30, intense contractions about 3:30, baby by 6:30. Wonder what I did in those 3 hrs???

4.) How long did you push?
Just a couple pushes I think for both baby A and baby B.

5.) Was the first baby born placed on your chest after they were born?
No. Baby B was breech and needed to be turned.

6.) Was the second baby placed on your chest after it was born?
No. He was wrapped up too by the time I got him.

7.) How much time between each baby?
70 minutes. Baby B needed to be turned (30 min) and then I think I went out of labor because the OB said I needed to dilate to 10 cm again. So that was another 30 min of pushing pitocen in me and waiting for me to dilate. I remember singing Rod Stewart songs in my head during this time, and I hate Rod Stewart! "When I see you tonight. On a downtown train."

1.) Did you go into spontanous labor or where you induced? How far along where you? I was induced due to pre-eclampsia

2.) How many centimeters dialated where you when you got your epi? they tried to give me an epi around 5cm. However, this was my second birth and for both births they could not get an epi to work for me no matter how hard they tried. So, I felt all of it and it wasn't that bad.

3.) How long did you labor? Started pitocin at 4pm, delivered baby B at 11:50pm

4.) How long did you push? I pushed for about 15 mins for A and actually pushed twice for B.

5.) Was the first baby born placed on your chest after they were born? NO

6.) Was the second baby placed on your chest after it was born? No (as a side note, they didn't place my first child on my chest either for some reason.)

7.) How much time between each baby? 10 minutes. It would have been less, but I stopped contracting for a few minutes after delivering A.

Sorry, I forgot to say how far along I was! I was induced at 34wks 6days. In 10 more minutes, they would have been 35wks.

1.) Did you go into spontanous labor or where you induced? How far along where you? Induced at 37 weeks
2.) How many centimeters dialated where you when you got your epi? I was 4 cm
3.) How long did you labor? About 2 1/2 hrs after the Pitocin drip started
4.) How long did you push? Didn't push at all for the first! They were actually telling me NOT to push on the way to the OR.
Then we they were finally ready, she said "very gentle push" and out came baby A. The second twin was out in 3 pushes.
5.) Was the first baby born placed on your chest after they were born? Yes, briefly then moved under the heat
6.) Was the second baby placed on your chest after it was born? Yes, briefly then moved under the heat
7.) How much time between each baby? 5 minutes

I had an easy delivery with my first child, but this one was sooo easy I almost felt robbed of the experience! Good luck
