I had the same schedule from the time my kids were six months old to the time they were four. It was great, and I would take it back in a heartbeat! I felt like a stay at home mom, but had the opportunity to get out, connect with friends, put my skills/background/degrees to work.

Congrats. Take it, enjoy it, and know that you are blessed to have this opportunity, even if it is short-lived.

Congratulations! I also work Tues and Thurs, & while it was a little tricky at first, now I've really learned to love my time at work & I feel like I am a much more patient Mum when I am home M, W, F! I, too, absolutely loved being a SAHM & never thought that I would be able to have kids, so going back to work was gut wrenching. But overall, it was a great decision. And my girls love their 2 babysitters - they see me get dressed for work & start asking "Who is coming today?" and then do a littel squeal and dance when I tell them.

There will be weeks when you wonder if it is all worth it, because it is hard to keep your job in the "proper" part-time place, but hang in there. It sounds like a great opportunity.
