***Meet the Mama***

Let's welcome Lorin as this week's Meet the Mama. It's time to put her in the spotlight and ask her those questions we've all been wondering about. Here is a little about her:


My name is Lorin, I am 20 years old and I live in Austin, Texas. I recently married my best friend, Chris. He is in the army and came back from Iraq in September. This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me. I work full time as an administrative assistant. We found out we are having two girls last week. Finding out we were having twins was a big shock because they don't run in my family but I'm so glad I found TS to help me through it. I can't wait for my girls to be here!!

I really crave donuts but I don't give in. Also cherry limeades from Sonic. They are soo yummy!
The only thing I've had a hard time eating is meats. I already am not a big meat eater and I only eat chicken and pork and its been hard to eat.

Hi Kyrstyn! I am SO excited about twin girls!
Well my first reaction was not very good. I totally freaked out but I'm better now . DH was in shock but was excited and I didn't understand it.

My theme for the nursery is going to be pinks and browns.

Thank you! We love watching football. Go steelers!! We also like staying home and playing board games.
My whole family lives in town but he is from Ohio so none of his family is anywhere nearby. But the army is making us move to Colorado in August (I'm due in July) so I'm really worried about how I will handle that.

Sorry I left off your last question. I plan on staying at home at least the first year but if we are able to financially, I would like to stay home with them longer.

 

How is this pregnancy going for you? Did you have alot of morning sickness? What was your reaction to twins?

Honestly, it was horrible the first trimester. I was naucious everyday all day and had to go to work 40 hours a week and didn't have energy AT ALL but couldn't sleep at night. But about 3-4 weeks ago I just woke up one day and felt like a new person. I am feeling great. No morning sickness and I have my energy back! YAYY! My first reaction to twins was not very good. I was freaking out but I'm excited now!!

My favorite place I have been so far is Cancun. I really want to take a vacation before the girls arrive but doubt I will be able to because of my job
We met through friends. My good friend was friends with a guy he is in the army with and we all went out one night and we were both interested in eachother so he got my number and the rest is history.
