Let's welcome Tina as this week's Meet the Mama. It's time to put her in the spotlight and ask her those questions we've all been wondering about. Here is a little about her:

    - I'm 32, married 7 yrs and together almost 11. GREAT cutie successful husband in which I adore!
    - 2 yr old daughter named Skyler who is the light of my life. I have an english bulldog too in which
I just love! She's the best dog ever- miss snuggling with her in bed. Cat too, but kind of snotty :)
    - Did IVF 4 times! Pregnant by using our frozen embryos. This past implantation split! So we are having
    identical twins.
    - I'm in the hospital for a month now. I have a cervix that is funneling. Over all cervix is 3.8, but the
funneling part is 0.6. So far, staying steady. I'm on pracardia for contractions, the meds seem to be
working so far. Dr.s and nurses say I'm doing well so far. Different oppinions I feel everyday here.
Some say I may go home in a week or 2 or others say I could be here until the remaining of the
pregnancy. I miss my familly and home. But I see my daugher almost everyday, Grandma commutes
from Charlotte to take care of my daughter. It's hard, but we are all dealing with it. It's hard though.
    - Stay at home Mom. Hired nannies when girls come home. We found them through our specialist, they
were his nannies, he has triplets.
    - In Atlanta, they say there is a good NICU here.
    - Me- I truely believe I am an honest and genuine person. I care for everyones well being and pray
every night. Friends and family are so important to me. My Mom is my best friend- so is my hubby.
My Dad is awesome! 3 older brothers and I'm the youngest. Went to a private school most of my
school yrs. Graduated with a fashion degree- so LOVE to shop the trendiest coolest stuff. I just love it!
Love to go out dancing and getting dressed up- when I can :) ... but that doesn't happen as much as I
I would like. I also love going out with girlfriends and having some yummy drinks when I'm not
    preggos.
-----That's me... I may have missed a few things, but that's what you do when your pregnant! Hopefully
I didn't bore you. I am a FUN person I believe! I love to laugh and have fun. Life is too short.
If you have any questions feel free to pm me. I would love to help out in anyway. Thanks!

Do you have any names picked out?

What have you been doing to keep yourself occupied while in the hospital?

I have been craving smoothies!!! Nice and cold!!!! I've been so hot with this pregnancy. I've always had a
sweet tooth, so I can't say cookies and candy, because I've always loved them :) I couldn't go near chicken or
any meat for awhile in the begining of the pregnancy, I can tolerate it now. But not lovin it-

I know being hospitalized for a long period of time is horrible as I was hospitalized for 10 weeks with my first baby. but.. I am curious..

What do you find to be the WORST part of being in the hospital?

    and

What good thing can you come up with?

We really like Ever. Now we are trying to figure out the next one. We liked Ever and Scout for awhile....
But mt husband keeps changing his mind! We also have liked Taccoa and Keelie? It's kind of hard.
    But Ever for sure...

Keeping myself occupied- on the cell a lot! Just changed my minutes to unlimited! On my laptop. Once a
day I get to see my daughter for a few hrs, sometimes we go on wheel chair rides outside or just a different
scenery downstairs in the lobby or cafeteria. Around dinner time, my husband comes to see me and we hang out and
watch TV. Fridays, are the days which are a little tuff on everyone because of their schedules- my Mom drives
back to Charlotte and my husband takes over taking care of our daughter. They come see me on the weekends,
and lately we go outside for a little and see my dog :). And sometimes my daughter takes a nap with me on the
weekends. It's such a precious time when she does. My husband took a picture of us sleeping and it makes
you want to cry... beautiful seeing mommy and daughter sleep together. Friends come see me too, thats nice.
Other than that TV, maybe a cat nap and of coarse nurses, Dr.s, cleaning ladies ext. coming through.

Funny, I remember when I didn't know what it meant either. I would kind of skim by it because I didn't have
that problem. Funneling is when the inner portion of the cervix opens closer to the baby. From viewing it on
the ultrasound, it looks like a crack in my cervix. They don't want it to widen, because then the babies can start
coming. It's dinamic right now, it opens and closes. It's really bizzare because I'm like "how the heck did this
happen?????" I've researched and researched.... no answers really. Well I take that back... perhaps, it could be
previous pregnancy, I've had PTL before, surgery... My daughter was born at 34 1/2 weeks and we don't know
why? So I have that in my records. Doe's that help you understand a little? Ask me anything, I don't mind
at all:), I have time. Just laying here in the lovely hospital. Check my e-mails and I'm on line all the time.
My over all cervix is thick 3.9, it's the middle portion, that funneling is starting to widen.

The WORST thing- missing my family!!! Ya know just missing normal life. I want to go for a walk with my dog
outside, sleep in my bed, hang out in my house watching my silly little 2yr old run around, going places, sleeping
next to my husband and dog every night and of coarse not being able to be the full time wife. Sometimes I get
so upset- I think my daughter is going to forget me as a Mom, my dog and cat think I left them and I can't
be the wife I want right now. It reaaaallllyyy hurts sometimes. Other things too are the food, some nurse don't
have the greatest personality (but most are nice), being in a room all day and getting rocky sleep- Being here for
a month, I'm starting to figure out the routine.

Good Thing- help. It's just a button away. They are right there when you have contractions or any kind
of problem. I want to go home, but it also makes me nervous because we don't have the profesional care.
My whole family wants me here. We're 15-20 minutes away, but if you get stuck in traffic in Atlanta, it can
be over and hr!!! My parents and husband keep telling me I'm in good care and that I am in the best place right
now for whats going on. I know.... it's just hard.

I don't really have a question for you, but I am thinking of you and hope time is flying by! If you are a reader, have someone get you a copy of "Anybody Out There", by Marion Keyes. She is an Irish author. I read it last month, and can't get it out of my head. I have probably read six books since, and none of them even come close! Loved it... :D

Hi Tina!! Welcome to the spotlight.

    My questions are . . .

What is the last concert you went to?

What is the last CD you bought? OR song you downloaded?

What is your "guilty pleasure" ??

Last concert- Goodness, I had to call my husband to remember- HA! Incubus. I'm actually good
friends with the band. Very cool guys. Last year, my husband and I and some friends watched the concert
and had back stage passes. And then hung out with them afterwards for a drink. The drummer is a good buddie
of mine. He actually doesn't know I'm in the hospital. We had fun.

Last CD- Hmm...I can't remember???? I have Serious in my car, so I have great music from that. It's been awhile.
I'm sorry, I can not remember. I'll tell ya this- call me a dork, but I did want to buy the Britney Spears CD? I know
she hasn't been the greatest Mom, but I like her catchy songs. But I also like Rock, classics, old school music,
cool R and B.... I never really liked country, but I'm liking Carrie Underwood! I love watching American Idol :).
Do you want to know what a SWEET thing my husband did for me tonight- I was telling him I miss being in the car
hearing good music and on the way home from the hospital he called me and our wedding song was on the
radio!! It made me cry! I saved it on my voicemail so I can hear it again. So sweet.

Guilty Pleasure- when I'm not preggos- eating junk food! Like downing a bag of Sour Patch Kids until my tongue
    hurts from them being sour!
