I don't know where to start. My pregnancy was going great apart from some early bleeding (diagnosed as a Hematoma) which was resolved by the 12 week. I started getting period like cramps (which I later realised was contractions) and made my way to A&E. By the time they did an internal I had dilated and the membranes were bulging. We were told there wasn't anything that could be done and we had to make the decision to brake my waters and deliver the babies knowing they would not survive. I'm completed devastated and have no idea why this happened so early in the pregnancy. The hospital are doing tests on the placenta and also my blood (we refused an autopsy on the babies) but has anyone ever had this happen to them? I can't eat, sleep and feeling so guilty that these two little girls were perfect but my body failed them. .
