Everyone looks so great! I just want to get my pregnant belly back to give it a big hug! I love being pregnant! (and yes, I said that right up to both my births!)

Wow! A lot of you grew straight out! I wish my thighs looked as good as all of yours!

Here's me the day before I went into labor. I thought it was just my 33 week pic. I took it b/c the boys are visible. Jake is the lump near my ribcage and Ryan is head down on my left side. I had an ultrasound the day before and they hadn't moved in two weeks.

Yep! I actually got accused a few times of having a fake belly.
I threatened to lift my shirt up and show them all my stretch marks a few times.
That is why I took photos with my shirt up..so people could see it was not fake.

Haha! I'm showing my husband all the pictures of what I have to look forward to and he looked at this and said "Yeah right, that one's fake" I said Oh, yeah and then showed him the uncovered one!! :rotflmbo: He shut up after that.

That is a beautiful belly!!! All are beautiful. Somedays I actually do miss that if you can believe it. There really is something magical about a twin or more belly.

Same thing happened to me. At a Halloween Party someone said my costume was the best. I lifted up my shirt and this is NO costume. LOL I was so skinny..and nothing but belly, from being so sick. :p

I called myself the freak show. I would be walking and turn around or go around a corner and people would do this..
I went to my husband's work Christmas party 4 days before the boys were born and people are still talking about me.
My friend's always said - you know those people in movies that look so fake pregnant - that's what I looked like.
I do not miss that belly but am very grateful my body cooperated and got as huge as it did.

    Wow, everyone looks wonderful!!

Aren't our bodies amazing?? I'm still in awe of twins (and more) pregnancies - and I've gone through one. It is just amazing what we can do!

I was suprised - I never really got noticeably huge. I measured 52cm at the last measurement my peri took at 36w, but because I am fairly tall, and had bigger proprotions to begin with (D cups, and thighs a linebacker would love to have) I never really looked all that big. People kept asking me if I was sure there were two in there. At at 37w0d (after being induced for pre-e) I delivered 11lbs of babies.

I remember going into L&D early one morning before the hospital was really open for the day and telling both a security guard and a male nurse that I was looking for L&D. Both asked who I was going to visit. Ummm... the machine that measures contractions?

I was looking for a picture of me that was fit to share. I was looking through my belly progression and HOLY COW - how did I not notice my face? The Dr. kept asking if my face was swelling and I kept saying I didn't think so. Maybe I should have been looking at those pics a bit more.

For the last three weeks of my pregnancy, my legs were so swollen that it was as if I was riding a horse when I got out of bed. I could not bring my legs together b/c my upper thighs were soooo huge! So, in order to walk around, I had to take a bath for about 30 minutes every morning (sometimes mid-day, too) to alleviate some of the pressure and bring down enough swelling to walk. It was awful. My oh so sweet DH took my picture just before I got in the bath on the day of my c-section. As you can see, I was not interested in having my picture taken, but I am glad that he took it. It's proof of what I went through!

BTW - My OB refused to tell my what I measured after about 30 wks (it was "about" 42 cm then)...

The second picture was just after we checked into the hospital - 3 hours before my babies were born! I was soooo excited!

And...as if those are not "freak-show" enough...this video clip (taken a few days before the birth) really takes the cake. 1. I am exhausted and sick on top of being HUGE! 2. I have just finished stuffing my face with a "healthy" take-out salad (note drops of dressing on leg). 3. My 2 year old and DH can't get enough of torturing me. AND 4. I was not happy about DH taking any videos at that point, especially in the awful state I was in on that particular evening. HOWEVER, it's just another example of how much I endured for my amazing baby boys. I wouldn't delete this video for the world (although I was tempted at first)...especially with how much fun DS was having tickling mommy. Plus, I now find it pretty funny - notice how I "hoist" myself up in the chair to scoot it in toward the table...haha.

I just found this thread and I had to reply! I haven't shown anyone this pic, but some people have "heard about it"! Uggh it was a joke bc my bf had just bought xxl sweats and I thought it would be funny to get a pic in them. I almost peed my pants trying to take this pic! This was the nite before I delivered 39.1 along. Now I just look at how huge I was and how swollen everything is, face, feet,belly...

This was about a week and a half before I had my c-section (at 35w 5d). My husband thought he was hilarious.

I've decided it's not so much that I looked huge--it's that other people hardly look pregnant!

This is me at 39.5 weeks, three days before delivering. My sister pointed out later that it cut off at a weird place so I look like I have no feet and am floating in air.

You're too funny! I appreciate your sweet note. Even the doctors and nurses at all of my appointments, hospital, etc. remarked at my size...you would think they were used to seeing pregnant women...haha. My belly was huge with my first DS (a pretty big boy), so when I found out we were having boys I had a feeling they might be big, too. Plus...I ate a lot in the beginning just in case they were early.
I had a wonderful pregnancy, so if being huge was the worst part, it was totally worth it! ;-)

I agree...these posts are so much fun to read. It is so nice to celebrate the hard work we do as Mamas!!! Such beautiful bellies!!!
