I have also read that American Indian women have a higher rate of multiples. I was 37 when we conceived fraternal b/g twins. I was on b/c for 20 + years and got pregnant within 30 days off the pill. There are no twins in my family. I am 1/8th Cherokee and 1/8th Comanche, 5'6" and was about 15 lbs overweight when I got pregnant.

 

i was 23(now 24), 5'9 and weighed about 155, caucasion, and the pregnancy "just happened" .... and there is 95% that they are identical... and got pregnant with in the first month of not being on birth control

 

I was 29 when we conceived our boys. On fertility drugs for PCOS (funny enough--I am a twin, from my mom's second set of twins, and my mom has a brother and sister who are twins, so my boys are the fourth set of twins in three generations in my maternal line.)

I'm 5'3", and typically between 125-140 lbs, depending upon how much I am running/weightlifting/etc. I tend to get "bigger" (mostly in my arms) in the summer when I wakeboard a lot, but the season had just started when we conceived in May, so I'd only been out a few times and hadn't bulked up much. I was still at the higher end of my weight range though, because I hadn't run since my most recent marathon in February.

 

I was 32 did Follistim and IUI and our twins were conceived after taking the pill to get a period (I don't even get periods with provera)...I'm very overweight and very PCOS....fraternal b/g

 

I was 21 when I conceived, white, 5'8" A little heavier then I wanted to be. They were conceived naturally and definetly fraternal!

 

28, 5'9", 175 not really 'overweight', natural, g/g, don't know id or frat, no twins anywhere in my family, 4th pg, total shock

 

I was 23 and it was just by chance.

Since they're identical it would be just random chance anyway.

 

31 yrs old 5'3 100lbs, by chance, fraternal twins, no twins in my family, and docs told me 10 yrs ago chances were slim to none for ever getting prego again ardon:
