Thanks for sharing all of the details of weight gain, loss and measurement. If nothing else, I feel so much less alone since I have heard from all of you. I am also incredibly thankful for 2 healthy babies who continue to check out beautifully at every appointment. Just miss my mom a ton. She delivered my twin and me at around 38 weeks and we were 6 lb. 11 oz. and 7 lb. 5 oz. I know she'd be "right there" in empathizing with me. I always wondered what it would be like to carry 14 pounds of baby like she did! Maybe I will find out . . . Thanks again everyone!
QUOTE(Babies On The Way @ Jan 29 2008, 02:11 AM) well i delivered my twins at 27wks 3d but i had gained 35lbs at my last ob visit and that was 2 wks prior to delivery so i was about 39lbs gained when i delivered. i was measuring at 36wks at 25wk ob appt. i was apprx measuring 38-39wks on delivery day. here is a pic taken a couple days before deliver. of coarse right before i got really swollen from my IV so i dont count the day before deliver. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/blue...3/26weeks-1.jpg i think everyone is different and little weight, alot of weight as long as you have 2 healthy growing babies then your doig just fine. I tried to follow dr. lukes book and gain a lb a week but got alittle overboard toward the end. lol as of 5wks pp i have went from 235 apprx down to 211. so i still have a ways to go but i wasnt exercising or watching what i ate the last 5wks either. Thanks so much for posting your picture and information . . . I will pray for little Ethan. This is an important reminder of what really matters here. Thanks again.
Erykah, your belly pic is MOST impressive!! You are so tiny except for that lovely belly You go girl!!!
I'm 5' 2. and started at 110 and didn't really start gaining weight till almost 17 weeks because of the horrible morning sickness I experienced. I'm 26 weeks today! and have gained 23 lbs. I am also carrying all out front. You still can't tell from behind that I am even pregnant.
