THEY FINALLY MADE IT OFF THAT AIRPLANE! 8+ HOURS 100 YDS from the DOOR! What a horrible miserable situation!! Sorry for them!!

I have now snow blowed 3 times. (For those playing along with the home game!) I feel VERY productive! Gave the kids an early bath and they are playing in their warm fuzzy pj's!!

thanks for keeping me posted. I have not been able to get ahold of her on her cell (not working for some reason) but since we haven't seen her I assumed that she didn't get off the ground. Please keep her in your thoughts, she has breast cancer, on chemo right now and very sick...she was comming out here for some R&R and the last thing she needed was to be stuck in the airport indefinately.

Wow, that is just crazy! Looks like the day that I got married. Ha! We had blizzard like conditions, just not as much snow. It was horrible, but a beautiful wedding at the least.

I hope that you were able to make it to the liquor store in time...lol!!! Chili sounds so good. I hvae veggie soup in the crockpot now

I was thinking of you guys this morning when I heard about Denver on the news. I hope that everyone is safe and you are enjoying your snow!!!

 

We were "suppossed" to get that snow too, but nothing but rain here that is pretty slushy. I have been watching the news about the snow in Denver. I feel bad for all those travelers stuck. I hope your dad makes it and those other travelers stuck in the airports as well before X-mas.

I LOVE big snow storms -- we light a fire, make something warm to eat/drink, and have some cocktails while we watch the snow pile up.

It's been in the 70's here(South Carolina)most of the week but starting to get cold(50).

 

Oh my!! Very impressive! I am the travel manager for my company and we have tons of people trying to get to Denver, some have given up and are driving from Houston! It is beautiful though!

 

I'm jealous! I would love to be snowed in with the babies and close family for Christmas! Enjoy your chili!

 

This post makes me laugh! Those pictures look like a regular day for me. I am a good old Saskatchewan girl (that's in Canada for those that don't know LOL!) and we have snow from October to March for sure. Stranger things have happened though. My birthday is beginning of May and there has been snow then on occasion. I don't ever remember the schools being closed or anything like that when I was growning up. You just got out the shovel or snow blower and contimued on your day. I have a picture of my girlfriends daughter that I will try to dig up and post. It is from last winter and she is standing on a snow drift and she is leaning on the street sign. Now that's snow!!!

WOW!!! That's a LOT of snow! I'm gonna have to watch the news for the weather again. This morning I think they said that we're supposed to be in the 40's all week so maybe it's not coming to Kansas City...woohoo! Have fun being snowed in though.

I love the pictures! How neat! I wish that just once it would snow here. It's done it before, but not since I've lived here--I think it was in the 70's. I'm sure it would melt right away, but just to see it come down would be cool.

Im glad it doesnt snow like that here. We get the odd snowflake every now and then.

Im inside because its too hot to go outside . 95F, we have extra hot christmas's and the country is in a really bad state of drought with major bushfires.

That is so cool! I was really wishing for a white christmas this year, but I don't think we are going to get one. Two weeks ago we had 18 inches and now we have nothing!
