Had to call 911 for dd

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. Ava is doing well. She's at home with dh again today. Her pediatrician wants her to see a pediatric neurologist to make sure it was just a febrile seizure- he's almost certain it was but calls it an atypical febrile seizure because she didn't convulse, which I didn't think you had to for it to be a febrile seizure, but I'm not questioning it, I'd rather he be proactive and overcautious than not. She still is not quite herself, but I'm pretty sure that's just due to being sick and not sleeping very well- she's been very restless at night which is not like her, even when she's sick. She does have a double ear infection (or the start of one) so, she's on augmention for that. She just had her 3 year check on Friday and her ears were fine, everything was fine, it just can change so quickly. Anyway, thanks again for all your support and the many hugs I got from you!! It was such a scary experience and I'm so glad it's behind us (which is where I hope it stays!!)

 

wow...glad she's okay. We've had UTI scares with my oldest dd (where she just gets in this funk and is acting like something is wrong and she can't pee) and I've explained to her what they are going to do if they have to test for it... that's cleared her of her funk pretty quickly. I don't think I ever what to have to put one of my kids through that...ugh.
