Holly, you´ve made the right choice by going back to hospital. You´d never have forgiven yourself if something bad had happened.

I was hospitalised twice and although I hated being there, I knew it was best for the babies and for me. GL to you and your babies!

I understand how you feel...same situation happened to me at 23 weeks. The only reason why I was kept was because of HBP. The peri said that he was just waiting for me to crash. I had no portein in my urine, all my blood work looked good, I just had a headache and the HBP. I stayed 2 weeks. There was no reason I felt for them to keep me. And because the peri is one of the best in the state, my OB was following his lead, basically scared to go against him. Everyday he would come in and tell me about how his son was delivered at 25 weeks due to pre-e. And everyday I would tell him that I don't think I have pre-e that I just think that it was HBP that was undianosied before pregnancy. What hurt me even more was that when I went for my growth scan at 28weeks instead of coming into the room and talking to me as usual, he peeped in and said, wow, I'm surprised that you're still pregnant. <_< Then I had to explain to him that me being in the hospital was what was keeping it up and that now, with my meds of course, I have no problems.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do for you and your babies

I called L&D and they did test for HELLP when they ran my blood work yesterday and it came back fine. I was lucky enough to speak to the same doctor I saw yesterday and she and I chatted for a while. After speaking to all the moms in here, I've decided to go back. I'm packing up a few bags, one for me, one for the SO, and he'll be getting off of work early to take me in.

Honestly, thanks for all the good advice. I do appreciate it greatly. :thanks:

OK, I was ready to read you the riot act until I saw this post. Good choice! You would never forgive yourself if you gambled with your LOs lives and came up empty.

Good luck on making it to 38 weeks. I was on hospital bed rest for 7 weeks and let's face it, it's really not THAT bad.

I hate hospital bedrest! I will be the first one to tell you but after losing my twins in my first pregnancy, I gladly stayed there for 6 weeks on a bedpan for my son to be born.

No it's not fun but you will be safe there and your hubby can bring you things that will help you feel more at home. Glad to read you are going back! It's not worth it to stay home.

    Here's to a healthy delivery.

As a mother who has buried not one or two, but THREE babies because of Pre-e and HELLP, I'm so relieved to hear you are going back.
