First Vacation

We survived our first vacation! We drove from Philly to RI. Spent the night w/ my parents and then drove to North Truro Cape Cod. We all had a great time. The boys loved the beach but hated the water. I think because it was cold. They slept great in the pnp’s. Naps were a bit sketchy and we only had a few melt downs. We could not bring the jumperoo or excersaucer and since the boy’s can’t sit yet they were constantly being held/rocked/bounced. We are suffering the consequences of that. <_< We had a great time and can’t wait to go again next year!

It’s great that the boys loved the beach, even if they weren’t fans of the cold water. Those little melt-downs are totally normal when you travel with little ones. It’s impressive that they slept well in the pack 'n plays, though! Finding ways to keep them entertained without the jumperoo or exersaucer can be tricky. Planning another trip next year sounds like a cool idea! By the way, I recently came across some Capital Vacations reviews that could give you some ideas for future travels.
