I think I'd be completely numb from this; whoever thought anything like this could happen this way. I can't imagine how everyone must be feeling. My heart goes out to your family. May his memory always be a ray of light and joy despite this *hug*

I am so sorry for your loss...I can't imagine what you all are going through at this very difficult time.

I just wanted you to know that I have heard of this many times. This happens more often then many people think. Chances are, the results will come back "normal" for your nephew and nothing will go further. I am going to pm you with some information that will hopefully help guide you down this painful path to the truth.

That is just awful. I've never heard of shots being fatal and if they do cause problems there are usually symptoms like fever, convulsions, vomiting, rash etc. I'm so very sorry for your family. Whatever the cause - I can't imagine how heartbreaking that is for all of you. I hope the autopsy provides clear answers.

Me too. Never heard of any shots being fatal.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so sad!

First, I want to say how sorry I am your family is going through this.

One year ago tomorrow, a teacher I know of had this happen to his son. He passed away in his sleep. They thought it was SIDS since he was only six months old, but come to find out he was having reactions to his shots. About two weeks after his shots, he would get sick (respirtory). Then two weeks after his six month shots, he passed away. It was very heartbreaking, and my twins were the same age as him. I worry everytime the girls get their shots now.

I hope the autopsy brings answers to you and your family.
