The most repeated one that I get every time I leave my house with our girls is "girls or boys?". I just about scream when I hear this because I always dress them in pink! Every time I am getting them ready I put pink on them so tha tI don't these stupid questions! and BAM I hear it again. I think sometimes that people here in the gulfcoast area of Mississippi are color blind because the pink can be really bright and they still ask "girls or boys?".

The next one asked after that is "are they hard?" HUH? For me no, but I seriously think that EVERYONE should have twins so that they would realize that their questions are so flippin stupid! Sorry, I hadn't been out much due to baby sitting and I had a day off yesterday and so I went out to Dr. appt, and WIC appt. and Got both of these as I was walking out to my car.

    Lots of love!

People are dumb here as well - I always dress mine in pink and often get asked if they are boys. I always dress them the same because as soon as I don't someone asks me if they are identical and then argues with me about it!

One day they were both dressed the same apart from socks and someone say I know how you tell them apart - they have different socks on. Who did she think put those socks on!

'2 boys?' when they are in their carseats. DD's seat is pink and all her clothes are pink. DS's seat is brown. I'd say it was pretty obvious that they are b/g twins. I'd like to say 'why yes, but one is a transvestite.' but I haven't had the courage yet. :D

That was so funny I almost fell out of my chair! I am going to use that one sometime...

I'm so bad...I was shopping at a grocery store near my sisters the other day (where they don't know me) and was getting the usual "oh how cute...twins" type comments as well as being asked if they are both boys (yes they were both in blue) and "are they identical?" "Really, I can't tell them apart" (one is a pound smaller with barely any/copper red hair the other is a stocky guy with a head of brown hair). Finally someone came up to me and asked me if they were twins and at this point I just wanted to get my shopping done so I told her that there was a two for one sale over in the kids department. I didn't get much of a reaction so I kind if wonder if she didn't go over to check...

I like most other mom's here have had the "are they identical" for my b/g twins, "are they twins", "do they run in your family" questions. My son is a lot smaller than my daughter, 7lbs to 9lbs, and very fair to her dark. People ask how far apart they are an I say 1 day (born before and after midnight). That usually stumps them.

I hate the "which one is the evil twin" question. I even had one checker at a grocery store ask me that and when I said "neither one of them" she said "Oh, there has to be an evil twin, there always is. That one MUST be the evil one" as she pointed to my Jake. I was furious. Granted, he had a handful of his brother's hair in one hand and was throwing cheerios everywhere with his other hand... but still... did she really need to call him evil??

My sister gets questions when she is out and about with my nephew & neice.

People will ask, what are their names? My sister hates all the questions, so she
told somone Jack & Jill, with a serious face. :blbl:

If someone asks who was born first, I saw my nephew, I tell people that my
neice was the bonus baby. :D

Ugh! That's a question NO mom wants to hear. I took my babies to work and one of my co-workers started out with a really uplifting comment. "You said they were cute but they are CUTE! You need to brag about them more, " which was followed by, "They are both cute but in the cute competition, Asher wins." Heart sank. I don't want to hear THAT. I think they are both the most beautiful babies ever born.

i get the comment that DS is cuter than DD all the time, and each one breaks my heart. my ally is SO GORGEOUS!! LOL

I get "HE must have been born first" I don't know why people think that unless they think that because he is bigger. You and I know that that doesn't matter but to people it does. I say that DD was first and their jaw drops like I just told them they were aliens or something.

Just the other day I was in the check out line at the grocery store and the clerk, after being told they are twins, asked which one is older. I just stared at him. I mean come on... really? Fine... Addie by 11 minutes. Wow, makes a big difference, huh? Geez.

i get this all the time, and i always say--how much bigger could he have gotten in one minute? my DD is also noticeably smaller than DS

We get 'What do you do when they both cry at once?' umm. watch?

and the other really annoying one- '2 boys?' when they are in their carseats. DD's seat is pink and all her clothes are pink. DS's seat is brown. I'd say it was pretty obvious that they are b/g twins. I'd like to say 'why yes, but one is a transvestite.' but I haven't had the courage yet. :D

i always say, i cry too and i HAVE used the transvestite comment--people just don't think it's funny when you make fun of them, though!! LOL

also i get, which one is calmer? which one cries more? and i always say it depends on which 5 minutes you ask

i try to hand off the stroller when i go shopping with someone, too
