At my last sick visit my Ped showed me how he washed his hands between touching the twins. SURE!
He said I should do that to assist in not trasmitting germs. I LOVE my ped, but he is single (due to be being so anal retentive) and never had kids, let alone twins. I nodded and smiled and handed them whatever binky I had my purse.
They share EVERYTHING! (Including my boob!)

:rotflmbo: That may be the craziest thing I have heard all day....wash your hands after touching one of them before you touch the other :rotflmbo: Can you imagine????!!!!

We share EVERYTHING and I never even thought of doing it any other way, two bowls and two spoons= way too much work!!!

we shared everything until they got thrush in their mouths. Then it took ages to get rid of. For 2 months they didn't share a thing...but lately........I've fallen off the log a few times......lol. I actually think it's a bit gross, so I try not to, but I do it every now and then.

Mine share everything. In the beginning I tried but learned really fast that there was no point.

My boys share everything, unless they're sick, then we try not to share the germs, but otherwise, what's his is his and vice versa. I don't think it's gross at all... it's convenient!

Our girls have always shared things until they got thrush. I do think that after they are over it that we will probably go back to sharing again though. The only reason that they got thrush is because I am watching another little one their age and her mother didn't tell me that she had it, and so it got passed when they were sharing toys. Man is that stuff a mess to deal with! But yes mine normally share everything. And now I can say even illnesses and sicknesses too.

I have a lot of free time during the day but I don't want to fill that time with constantly following around to make sure that everything is sanitized every hour. That is a waste of my time. I starilize at least one or twice every 24 hours by washing their bottles, paci's, and clothes. Just think back when we were kids, were your parents freaks about keeping us clean? Mine weren't. We got dirty, we got a bath. We got a cold, everyone in the house got it too. It doesn't have to be that way no, but I would rather my kids build up the immunities to be able to survive going to school in a few years. If they don't go to school like everyone else, then I am wasting my time on getting my degree for a really good job. I would end up home-schooling them, (not a bad idea--lol).

    Lots of love!
