You'll get there. I didn't look like I was carrying twins until about 33 weeks. At that point, I looked like I was 40 weeks, and just kept on getting bigger!

When I was pregnant with my twins I looked like I had swallowed my house.

I'm starting week 18 on Tuesday and I am in the same boat as you, everyone sees that I am pregnant but are shocked when I tell them it's twins, I think that we are bound to have a growth spurt soon, according to my doctor, they are still so small so things are going to really start expanding in the next month.

I was told up until 2 weeks ago that I didn't look like I was carrying twins. Up until 22 weeks many ppl told me I didn't even look preg. Now that I'm 3.5 weeks away from delivery they tell me I FINALLY look like I'm carrying twins ;)

i am 29 weeks pregnant and NO ONE thinks i look like i am big enough to be having TWO babies. everyone, even the triage nurses and techs, say that i am tiny for someone with twins. so that does concern me. i have an u/s this monday to get weights and sizes but 3 weeks ago-ish they were just about 2lbs each so they are (were) right on target for singletons.

i should mention too that these are my first babies and i am tall, 5'8" with a long torso and lots of room for these boys to grow and i have a small frame to begin with so that might have something to do with it.

    9 weeks
    18 weeks
    26 weeks
    29 weeks

the OB refuses to measure me like a singleton so i have no idea how i compare. but EVERYONE says i'm tiny, yet i feel like a freakin' WHALE!!

so i'm wondering the same thing...when will i start looking like twins? people are already asking me when i am due but when i say august they say "you look so small for twins". it concerns me that my boys aren't growing enough!

My OB says I should always measure about 8 weeks ahead of what I actually am. As soon as I hit the 32 week mark and was measuring term (40cm) that's when ppl told me I finally looked like I was carrying twins. I'm also tall and have a longer upper body so I just think the babies had more room to hide!!

    You look great!!

It wasn't until 16 weeks that my uterus even started measuring a tiny bit large. I thought I was huge but everyone was always commenting until about 30 weeks that I looked small. I ended up measuring 47 weeks when I delivered at 35 weeks though so there was something there.
