To begin they wouldnt drink it cold i think it was because they liked their formula quite warm. It isnt a problem now. So i voted yes x

Same here... Mine just turned one on Friday. My ds can drink it straight out of the fridge, but dd won't. So, I put their milk cups in a big cup of hot water for a minute (just long enough to get the chill out) and then hand them to them.

We did cold formula in sippies with meals at 10 months, then switched it on over to cold milk at 12 months.

Straight from the fridge. They actually love it cold. They love it when we put ice in their water.

heck - mine always did formula from the fridge - it helped it stay down better when DS was having spitting issues....so yes we've done milk straight from the fridge always...

oh and my MIL severely disagreed to the point of starting a violent fight with DH about how we fed the children!

This is what we did too. If I warmed a bottle for Brooke she puked it right back up, so we did room temp formula until about 7 or 8 months and them straight out of the fridge after that. The girls never complained. :) At 12 months we switched to milk and it has always been cold.

The only warm milk the boys get is right before bed; otherwise it's straight from the fridge.

I tried to give them cold milk straight out of the fridge when they turned 1, but they wouldn't drink it unless it was warm. So now I'm offering cold milk first, then barely heating it if it's problem. I never had this problem with my older 2, they loved cold milk!

Cold here too, except at night. I warm it b/c we haven't dropped that bottle yet, and if I drink something really cold, fast, it gives me a headache

I never really thought about giving it to them warm. They have always done cold milk. We did their formula at room temperature, so that was never warmed either.

It honestly never occurred to me to warm their regular milk when we switched. The idea of warm milk to me is really gross, so I never even thought about it. Actually like several PPs once they were a couple of months old, we never warmed their formula, either, just did it room temperature or straight from the fridge. I figured since cold milk is better tasting, so would cold formula; esp. once it was summer, it just seemed like a cold beverage would be so much more refreshing. :)

Actually they often ask for ice cubes in their milk, so I think they like it cold, LOL!
