Is that the same FL that I live in? It was hot, humid, and buggy here. :diablo:

My kids did fine. They were up until about 9(usually 730), and woke up around 730. Usually if I think about it enough(or worry), it turns out well. :pardon:

Well, I was trying to look on the positive side of things. We were slathered in Off and I had jeans on to keep my legs from looking attractive to mosquitos but other than that, the wine was good. :drinks:

Sure, rub it in why dont you. :girl_devil:

My girls got up at 7:40 this morning (the new 6:40). They're usually up by 7ish, so tiring them out last night and putting them to bed late worked a bit. Here's hoping they continue to sleep "late"... I would rather not deal with 6am wake ups all week.

I'm actually the one in the family most affected by DST. It takes me weeks to get back on track with sleeping and waking up at the right time. Big sigh.

I put my girls to bed around 8:30 but they didn't go to sleep until after 9. Sarah was up at 5:30, but crawled in the bed with me and went back to sleep until 7:30 and then went and woke Allison up, too. Since my clock still said 8:30, because I forgot to change it, I was pleased!!

Well, Nadia normally sleeps in until about 8:30 on the weekends (she has to get up at 6:30 during the week for school) -- and she did the same today, except it was the new 7:30. Oh, well. She usually doesn't wake me up, but today she absolutely needed her Halloween flashlight and couldn't find it, so the world was going to end unless I got up and looked for it.

The little ones usually sleep until about 8:30, too, if I don't get them up for school at 8 -- and same deal today, except it was now 7:30.

So, we're awake. But, we'll do naps at 2:30 or 3pm as usual, and just move on...the kids are chilling with Diego, Nadia is blinding people with her flashlight, and I'm eating the world's healthiest breakfast of candy, pumpkin cookies, and leftover tater tot casserole from our block party, complete with Diet Coke.

    :good:

We normally do bedtime at 8pm. Last night, we kept them up until 9pm. I was nervous about it...thinking I would have early risers and cranky kids. BUT..Lo and Behold...IT WORKED!! YEA! :woohoo: They slept until the new 7am. Which is their normal wake up time. We didn't get any extra sleep, but that is OK. I was just afraid they would pop awake at 5:30 or 6am. I can live with 7am.

We kept both kids up and it didn't work. They were up at the normal time, which is now one hour earlier. This will take about a week to transition. DH will be a pill about this, too. He will not like keeping them up later at night because they'll be grumpy, so I'll be transitioning THREE kids this week. ;)

Yep-they woke up at 6:30am, which is the new 7:30am. Hopefully they will get back to waking up at 7:30am(that is just heavenly!). Time will tell, right?

We'll put them to bed around 8pm and see how that works for a bit. But before summer came, they were going to bed at 7am consistently. Now-not so much..

My kids were horrid today! I honestly didnt think the time change would really affect them at almost 3 and 5. I was SO wrong. Ugh! Bedtime could not come soon enough tonight. :drown:

    Oh noooo!!!

It was like that this morning at our house!! :fool:
But then we had them nap and they woke up different people. They were the best they have been in a long time!! I wonder if sugar is what they've been lacking. I surprisingly didn't put them down until 8!! We'll see what the morning brings though. :gah:

We kept the girls up later. They went to bed around 9:30 and slept until 7:15(really 8:15). I on the other hand was up at crack:30 and had showered and fixed my hair and started breakfast. The day was a different story. We had a birthday party after church and by 2, they were :girl_devil:
