I bf DS for 9 mo,
    DD for 14 mo,
and my twins 6 wks and counting (not exclusively, although I would like to)

It took 9 mo to concieve DS,
I concieved DD as soon as I weaned DS
Concieved twins on 1st time we broke our NFP rules

Random fact: this is my first post at the twinstuff community

I have been breastfeeding the boys for about 14 months. I breastfed my girls all to a year and then stopped.

I wanted #4 and convinced my husband to go for it. It took 5 busy months of trying...yes he was worn out!!
And...what we thought was one more turned out to be 2 more!!
I hear it all the time--"you wanted one more baby!"

I began running 6 months ago and can't get enough of it. This is my 2nd school year off for maternity leave and I love being home!!!

Breastfed for 6 weeks and 2 days... the last 2 weeks the girls get a bottle or two of formula...my goal was 6 weeks and I am not stopping now... love it!

Off Birth control end of Nov., pregnant beginning of Jan., Found it it's TWINS in Feb.

And the random fact... i am 5'3", my DH is 6'9". I am hoping our girls are tall (not over 6') and thin and can eat whatever they want and stay thin

    * been breastfeeding the boys for almost 9 months, with no set end in sight (especially considering that my AJ has a serious allergy to cow's milk). I nursed my singleton 19 months.

    * Took us 2.5 years (and many rounds of clomid, femara, and injectables, 6? failed IUI's, and one successful IVF) for our singleton. Then, it took another 2.5 years (and one failed FET, and one successful IVF) for the twins.

    * stupid random factoid: I went to the same high school as Katie Holmes. I graduated with her sister.

I have been bfing for just over 8mnths (sometimes I use a bottle of formula for night feedings if I needed a break).

One round of IVF to get our beautiful twins.

Random Fact - I use to teach and compete in country and western dance competitions - love, love, loved it!

Ava and Bella: it took us 5 months
    Jax: took 1 month :D
    Lola: took 1 month :D

    Random fact: I love calligraphy!

I've been breastfeeding my twins for just over 20 months now and we're still going strong 3x day!! They are our first kids.

We weren't trying to get pregnant at all, but I guess we weren't really trying NOT to either ;)

ETA: Surprising facts: I birthed my twins on a fairly remote island in Alaska with no NICU and they were conceived on our 6 year anniversary!

Would also love to add that we are still TANDEM nursing! My lap is getting smaller and smaller but I LOVE it! They are such little clowns sometimes :)

I've been BFing for 12 weeks! It is getting easier...just as you all promised ;)

It took 4 rounds of clomid with the final cycle being the winner (2 days at 100mg and 5 days at 150mg!!!) to get pregnant. We were shocked to find out it was twins...didn't even cross my mind when I started the clomid. At that dose, I'm surprised we didn't have sextuplets!

I ran my first marathon last year and qualified to run the Boston Marathon. Too bad I was 5 months pregnant with a bum knee!

I've been breastfeeding 4 weeks now!! It is so hard though.....

It took us almost 2 years to conceive... the twins was my first pregnancy.

I have a cat that is 10 years old and he's my "first born."

Giuliana's been getting breast milk for just over 4 months and hopefully she will go for a lot LOT longer. Gavyn got for 13 months--self-weaned or it would have been longer. The twins got for 8 weeks, I only pumped for 6--not keeping with it is my biggest regret as a parent. ;)

Gavyn and Giuliana were surprise pill babies. The twins were conceived the first month of trying.

Random fact: Six months before I got pregnant with DS I was told it was very unlikely that I would ever conceive a child on my own.

I have been breast feeding for 3.5months and one day. One of my babies had formula in the hospital and for one day at home. Then I went exclusively breastmilk. I cant seem to get the pumping thing together because I cant be that disciplined about it so they dont even get EBM at this point. I am not going anywhere anyway.

We tried to get pregnant for just over one year with one MC and Chem. Preg.

Random Fact- I live in the State of Vermont, love sailing, cooking, my 2 labradors, yoga and being a new mom to twin identical boys.

E&E bf'd for 10 days (like Rhonda my biggest regret is stopping) Wyatt is EBF at almost 6 months. He hasn't had a drop of formula.

E&E were honeymoon babies and complete surprises. We had just decided to try on my next cycle for W and found out the next week that he was already cooking.

I knew E&E were twins from the moment I got my BFP. Dh didn't believe me until the u/s.

I've been breastfeeding the twins for almost 11 months... my older DS for 14 months and my older DD for 15 months. Planning to go 18 with these two. :)

We were very blessed to have conceived each of time in the first month of trying (including one Chem.pg and one m/c prior to the twins). Now that I know we are ABSOLUTELY done I am very nervous about a true accident!

Random fact: I watch probably way too much tv, and am a sucker for all the silly sitcoms. It's my stress relief after the kids are in bed!

    * I breastfed both of my twins for 15 months. One of them is still nursing now (16 months and counting...). Jackson took one bottle per day for the entire time I nursed.

    * I underwent one year of fertility treatment to get pregnant with my sons. They were conceived with Femara and IUI. The next step would have been IVF.

    * I am taking courses to become fluent in ASL (American Sign Language). It's my guilty pleasure-- I love the 2 hours of silence the class offers to me! A great contrast to the beautiful, noisy chaos of twin toddlers.

    • How long have you been providing breastmilk.
3 1/2 weeks of EBM because my guys are too little to latch at this point.
    • How long did it take for you to get pregnant?
we conceived on the very first ovulation. We expected it to take longer so I hadn't even started charting my cycle yet.
    • A random fact about you.
we placed an offer on our current house about a week before we found out we were expecting twins. during negotiations we found out that the seller had raised twins here. it seemed like a strange coincidence but for some reason it made the decision feel even more "right."

I have been BF Maeve and Finn for 8.5 months and I BF Tess for 13 months. It took me 7 months to get pregnant the first time, and one month to get pregnant with Maeve and Finn! It happened the month after I stopped BF Tess.

I have run three marathons including London, Chicago and Boston. Since my first pregnancy, I put distance running on hold and have been running to just stay in shape. As the year mark of BF my peanuts approaches, I am hoping to get back into distance running. :)

I've been bf Tyce since birth - 1 month, 4 weeks and 1 day.
I tried for about 2 weeks before discovering I was pregnant with baby number 3, and later came to find out I was pregnant all along!

Fun fact about me : Oh I don't know.... I lead our worship team's choir for our church - singing is my outlet for sure! Oh, and I serve in the Air National Guard. :D Other than that, I consider myself a SAHM 98% of the time.

I have been nursing my girls for 10 weeks and counting. I nursed my two oldest sons about 15 months each and would have done the same for my third son if not for failure to thrive issues unrelated to my nursing. I'm hoping to nurse the twins as long as I nursed their older brothers. :D

I have been fortunate enough to have an easy time getting pregnant so each time I wanted to get pregnant I did on the first try.

I was a flight attendant for 6 years before my first was born.

Evan and Noah are almost 26 months and are going strong ( day and night)

Got pregnant right away but didnt find out it was twins until 22 weeks.

sad to say I dont really have any interesting random facts except maybe that after 26 months AF still hasnt returned (only mentioned this cause I know the topic comes up frequently).

I've been breastfeeding for 13 1/2 months. We're now at twice a day.

I got pregnant almost immediately. I had one miscarriage, and six weeks later I was pregnant with our twins. The doctor used the words "fertile myrtle" when referring to me.

An interesting fact is that I'm pregnant again! Lord-willing, if everything goes okay, I'll have three children under the age of two!

    Great thread, thank you JicJac.

How long have you been providing breastmilk. We've been breastfeeding for nearly 2 1/2 years now - I have no idea why, but I'm more embarrassed than proud of that fact. Over the past couple of weeks we're down to one nurse at night.

How long did it take for you to get pregnant? On our 8th month of trying (and first IUI) I fell pregnant. I found out it was twins when I asked the woman who did the scan (at around 5 or 6 weeks) "why are there two black circles on the screen, is one the baby and the other the placenta?" duh?!

A random fact about you. My commute to work is a 30 minute drive through the African Rift Valley and, usually, I can see ostriches and antelopes.

    Ok, tell us:
    • How long have you been providing breastmilk. I have been BF DS and pumping for DD for 5 1/2 months.
    • How long did it take for you to get pregnant? 10 years - through an embryo adoption
    • A random fact about you. My church is my favorite place to be!

Since the girls were born. I hope to BF until at least a year. I BF DD #1 until 11 1/2 months and DS to a year.

How long did it take for you to get pregnant?
3 months. DH said he was fine with just having the two that we did at the time but knew that I wanted one more. We agreed to try for #3 and then be done! The day I found out I was pregnant (between 4-5 weeks along) DH said jokingly "just as long as it's not twins". 5 weeks later at my first checkup we found out there were two. I still remember the look on his face. His jaw was literally hanging open.

    A random fact about you.
2 years ago when my daughter was 5 and my son had just turned 1 we contracted our own home. It was alot of work. My MIL and I laid all the tile throughout the house on our own. We also did the plumbing, electrical, painting, building of the deck on the back of the house and various other things here and there. Despite this we were able to finish the house in 4 1/2 months. It was stressful but at the same time I almost can't wait to do it again. I must be crazy, huh??!!
