I've been checked out for months now, but we just finished weaning completely and I came back for old time's sake.

How long you've been nursing/pumping. (or when did you wean): 35 months and 9 days

What is the ONE piece of advice you would give new moms wanting to breastfeed?: Breastfeeding and recovering from pregnancy (together) are a full-time job. Delegate everything you can (and be confident that anyone who offers to help really does mean it).

[*]What has been your absolute best part of breastfeeding?: Hard to describe, but through all of the crazy changes in their lives and mine over the past 3 years, it has been really good to have a single "habit" that we could always go back to for quiet and mutual support.

[*]What issues have you had?: One low-weight baby, reflux (which improved a lot when I cut out dairy), lots of clogs and a couple cases of mastitis, a yeast infection, milk blisters, and pumping stopped working around a year.

And let me add that this forum was often the ONLY thing that kept me going, and often provided real human support and interaction in an otherwise isolating experience. I miss you guys!
