E - I just had an idea.

Is there anyone on here that you feel comfortable enough with, to call/text when you do have the girls? You have so many people here rooting for you and it would make all of us collectively happier to know that everything has gone well.

 

Believe it or not, I don't have text capabilities, as I have a prepaid cell phone and blocked texts. But there's internet access in the L&D rooms in the hospital, and I'll have my iPad. I just meant that I'll have to wait until I'm out of the OR to do so, as I will be delivering there (hopefully vaginal). Calling or emailing is the same, as we can't make calls from the OR. So hopefully I'll update within an hour or two of the birth.

My labor with my twins was just a slight back pain....went in because I was suspicious and was in full, active labor!! Don't wait too long 'cause my girls came within 3 hours and I wasn't even in any major pain!!!

 

Thanks for asking. Still hanging in there and I'm getting a bit antsy. The contractions are mostly gone and the other pains are sporadic. But the babies are so low that when I sit, my belly touches the chair. I look comical and wish I could just know that the babies are here and safe already.

But my mood's good and hopeful and I'm just trying to enjoy this time.

I think you got confused. I'm not at 'goal' yet, which was officially being induced at 36 weeks.

 

Whoops! Sorry- for some reason I remember Thursday being important. Well. I guess it's 2 more weeks then, which is really good for their growth anyway. :youcandoit:

 

I just wanted to post and say that I'm still around and if anything does happen, I won't be able to post until at least Saturday night, being that we're Orthodox and don't use computers etc... on the Sabbath.

Still around. Contractions are sporadic, but definitely stronger. It seems like it's going to be a long drawn out process. I'm tired. Lol.

 

Now they are playing games! Every day in is great! Can't wait to 'meet' them!

He's thrilled and dreaming about what he'll do with the babies, such as taking them into his bed to rock them to sleep. :laughing:

That will last about a week. I'm joking, but that's so cute. I often wish my boys were a little older so they actually got it a little more when Lena was born.

Do you guys have your names ready?

 

A week? A day. :laughing: I know he'll absolutely love them because he dreams about babies and loves them, always has. But it'll be a very big adjustment for him as well.

We name after deceased grandparents, so we do know what we'll name them, but we have a naming ceremony on the first Sabbath after the birth.
