Mine were positioned the same as yours. I delivered Baby A vaginally with no problems & Baby B 6 minutes later by breech extraction. The doctor just reached in, grabbed his feet & pulled him out (and he was the bigger of the two at 7 lbs 13 oz). I had an epidural so I didn't really feel anything and I went home 2 days later, no problems for me or the babes.

This is exactly my story as well. I'm really glad i was able to have a vaginal birth- I had a peri who is a pro at breech births and felt totally comfortable doing it. I really enjoyed being able to breastfeed soon after and go home from the hospital quickly. Good luck and enjoy your new babies!

This was my situation when I went to deliver. My doctor wasn't the slightest bit worried -- he said often the second baby will turn on its own; if not, they can often turn it by hand (I didn't quite get whether that was outside or inside the uterus!). I would go vaginally if I were you.

When I delivered, baby A was born just fine. 3 minutes later, there was baby B head down just like she should be. I hope you have the same experience!

That is how my guys were. A was head down and B was breach. I wanted a c-section because a vaginal birth scared me senseless. I ended up going vaginally and I am so glad I did. Baby A, Jackson practically slid out. Three pushes and he was out. Baby B, was a different story. It took 48mins for him to come out and it was fanny first. I had two nurses pushing on my belly and the DR reached up and pulled him out. Thanks to the epi I had no pain and the boys and I went home 2 days later. I am really glad I ended up going vaginally. I had a similar experience. DS (baby A) was head down and DD (baby B) was breach, but after DS was delivered she moved around and went sideways (transverse, I think the term is). Luckily, my ob was able to get a leg and get her out. Needless to say, they were born only two minutes apart, and both vaginally. I didn't know what to expect and was ready to handle either delivery option just as long as my babies were safe. My ob told me that I would prefer a vaginal delivery and that she would do everything possible to make it happen, and she did. She is great! Wishing you all the best with your pg and delivery! Enjoy this time with them, it flies by. ;)

ETA: Somehow my post got duplicated in this post. Edited the second one out. :)

My twin A was head down and twin B was breech. I delivered vaginally. My doctor and I preferred doing it vaginally because of the reasons you stated in your post. I pushed for an hour with A and only 7 minutes with B. The doctor reached in and pulled B out breech. She got stuck on the way out but that had more to do with the shape of my pelvic opening. Apparently its oval instead of round, so she got stuck. He had to use the foreceps for 2 seconds and when he did, she popped right out. I'm so glad I did it vaginally.
