Anyone NOT have stretch marks?

This question gave me something else to freak out about. I cant see around my belly so I made my DH look all over under and on the sides to see... HHAHAHAHAHAHA! I dont have any new ones! I just have the few on my hips from my first preg.

 

I carried to 38w2d and have only very very minor stretch marks....excess skin on the other hand Im still to work on that.

 

If you didn't get stretch marks your sooooo luck. I got a ton of them!!

 

I am 20 weeks this Thursday and I only have one tiny little one. We'll see how long that lasts but so far so good. I am 5'8 and was always pretty fit, I am worried that I am going to start getting a lot of them though. Good luck!!!

 

HA...This was my first pregnancy. I am 5'7"ish and I weighed 140'ish before pregnancy. I weighed 222lbs the day I delivered and I amazingly didn't get stretch marks until about 33.5 weeks, at least not on my belly. My breast got stretch marks pretty much immediately, but I started leaking at 16 weeks, so they were growing and stretching really fast. I now have horrible stretch marks on my legs, and not terrible on my belly, but they ARE there. I used body butter everyday, so I think alot is genetics, and how fast you gain weight, etc. OH, and I lost all the weight...YAY, but gained some back

 

I am a pretty short person. I had some strech marks with my first baby. With the twins I didn't get one new mark. I feel pretty luck because I have seen some really bad bellies!

 

didn't get any with ds and I gained a lot of weight with him. This pg I have gained 21 lbs so far 6 of that being the girls. Hopefully
I won't get them. I agree with pp that it is mainly genetics. BUT...
I still use Clarins Huile Oil (spec for stretch mark prevention) and The Body Shop Body butter in Sesame or Almond. (used it when I was pg with DS too. I love it, use it all of the time)

 

I never got any - I'm 5'5", was measuring 41 weeks, gained 40 lbs - but only got to 29 weeks.... btw - my mom never got any w/two singletons carried to 42 weeks each - and she's 5'6" - 100 lbs - and gained 20 lbs... I think it's all genetics...

 

I was sure I wouldnt get very many because I didnt gain much weight. But in the last couple weeks probably around 34-35 weeks they started showing up LOTS of them. I delivered at 37+1 with a stretch mark covered belly but it was all worth it. BTW I am 5'8".

 

I didn't get any. I midwife that I consulted with said to take 1000 mg. a day of vitamin C with bioflavanoids. I spread this out over three meals. This is supposed to help for labor and prevent stretch marks. I did not get any. I faithfully put on vitamin E oil and took my vitamins. One thing that I did and wished that I hadn't, was put tape on my belly button to help prevent it from sticking out. There is a small stretch mark where the tape was. It didn't get any oil there. It is barely noticeable, but I know it is there and don't like it. Anyhow, if you don't have any now. There is a good chance if you do what I did, you won't have them either. Best of everything!

 

P.S. I am 5' 7" and started at 140 lbs. and at delivery was 185 pounds. I am currently 158 and trying to get rid of those extra pounds.
