LOL Your girls dont look anything alike either. I remember your post several months ago about the results of the placenta tests... I certainly dont think you need the DNA done, but I remember argueing because I just have a fit when DRs tell moms that their kids are frats just dependant on the placenta tests... but all that aside, I agree they def. have to be Frat! ;) I think it is funny how they look like eachother at 6 months, thanks for sharing.

That is totally ok! I know that there are times where people should get the tests. But I knew from day one even without the dr. telling us anything that our girls were fraternal twins. It is totally ok. I had been pulling out the photo albums for each of our kids and I realized that our twins lookied so much like our older daughter at two different ages. I took many pictures from Kenia's books and put them next to Aubrey and Avarey's pictures. They all three look so similar, but yet so different. They could be triplets--lol--if they weren't 4 years and 7 months old. I can definitely see what Our twins will start to look like as they get older, that's for sure!

    Thanks! Lots of love!

My boys were never tested but we believe they are fraternal because they look different. They do both have blonde hair and blue eyes but other then that Matthew looks like my DH and David looks like me.

Okay maybe we should all get ours tested (unless of course they have diff. eyes or diff. blood types) because some of these babies I would swear were ID.. that gets me thinking... am I one of those moms who thinks my babies are different and everyone else thinks I am crazy??? :p I would NEVER argue with you if you think yours are frat (because I hate that) but really I think we might be missing something here!

I have never had my girls tested but I am almost positive that they are fraternal. They look nothing alike to me. When they have hats on they resemble each other but that is about it. Sydney looks like me and Karlie looks just like her daddy. Here are some pictures. Tell me what you guys think.

We've always said that if we put our boys in a line up of other boys born the same week you would never pick them out as the twins. Unlike many of you we've never had anyone say they look alike or ask how we tell them apart. I often wonder if they would look more similar if we didn't have a 3 pound difference in weight.
I don't think we can compete with "Shamus and Guido", but I do think there is no chance they are identical.

I've never put a photo link in before so my fingers are crossed this will work!

    Here we are today.

Here we are again. William has yet another rash around his neck so he's looking a little red.

I did have someone tell me the weight difference must be because I conceived the boys a week or so apart!

I don't know how to post photos either, but I will have to figure it out, because my twins are seriously opposites in the looks department. I am caucasian and dh is african american. Well, one baby appears completely and utterly caucasian, with big cheeks, smaller eyes and curly curly hair, and one looks much darker, with straight hair, a thinner face, and big almond shaped eyes! :p

OH MY GOSH!! You all have such cutie patooties!! I think some look very different and some others look very similar!!

<---- There are my frats in the avatar photo. Definitely super frat. One with thick dark brown hair, deep blue eyes and a thin face like daddy and the other with lighter hair, lighter blue eyes and a round, chubby face like mommy.

You can upload them from your computer onto Photobucket (I personally think that site is easy to use) and then post the link here for us to go and see them. Let me know if you need more help. I can't wait to see them!!

There, I think I figured it out... Have you ever seen twins that were more opposite? I even heard the doctors talking about it in the hallway one day :)

They are CUTE!! I see what you mean now about the differences.

I fixed it to make it a link to the picture since TS doesn't allow embedded pictures.

Thanks, guys, for saying the my twins are the most un-alike frats!! (Cynthia and Briana)

Honestly, I guess based on the fact that no one ever asks "Are they identical?" but always asks "Are they twins" lets me know they are so different.

Here are a couple more pics taken today.

Oh yeah, their "real" names are William and David. One of my friends calls them Shamus and Guido b/c well...you get the idea

Melissa, David and William are both so beautiful! And you're right, they certainly don't look like twins. :)

My girls look more and more different every day. Genevieve is a little pudge, with a round face and a big toothy smile. McKenna is a skinny minnie, with practically no baby fat on her face and a big open mouth smile. They're both gorgeous, but so completely different in every way. We never get "are they identical?". Sometimes people ask if they're twins, but most of the time people say "aw, what cute boy/girl twins!" <_< Even when they're dressed in identical pink outfits! Whatever. LOL

Here are a few pics from our Valentine's Day photo shoot. (Yes, I know I need to fix the date stamp on my camera, but I haven't had a chance to figure out how!)

Girls just wanna have fun...and not sit still for pictures.

DH's favorite shot of the day (this is the one he thinks we shoulda entered into the contest!)

The original of the pic we did enter (before DD1 "glamorized" it)
