You are doing an amazingly wonderful job. Don't feel guilty for one second! Keep communicating with your doctor, and see what he says. Trust me, I understand about the money issue. Luckily my job let me work from home ... but my doctor did not put me on bedrest. I did take terb from 28 weeks to 36 weeks, and it really helped. It makes you feel a little crazy (jittery) at first, but your body will adjust to it. I had to take my meds every 6 hours on the dot, so I had to set my alarm at night to get up and take it ... the first couple of nights I didn't feel great, but I got used to it. I was like you in that I was having a ton of contractions, but none of them were affecting my uterus.

Take care of yourself. You are doing a great job. Since you have to work, make your DH do EVERYTHING else once you get home ... park on the couch and drink your water!

Fingers and everything else crossed for you!

Thank you - I know you all are looking out for me and these babies and I can't tell you all how much I truly appreciate it. I am very lucky to be able to talk to all of you through this....

I am so glad that your babies have come this far-you only a couple more weeks to viablity-you can do it!
I really wish you could talk a doctor in to putting you on bedrest-I really believe this would help! If that is not possible, then the only time you should be on your feet or up and about is when you are working-when you get home lay down right away and stay there until you have to go to work again. Drink lots of water and add protein shakes to your diet.
Hang in there-you are doing great!

I did speak to my regular OB as well just late yesterday and he agrees so far with the sourse of treament so far. I asked about bedrest and he also said he does not feel it will make a difference right now. The meds and monitoring are what is important....

    Thank you all again....
