Don't know who Zooey is but she has more color in her face than Katy did. She is to pale and I don't think she looked "sick" she just looked pale

Yes, I think its the three songs!

I am happy for Kris and Adam but I still liked Danny too. He is quite talented. I think this is the first time I have ever been happy with all the three finalists! This season was so great! FINALLY! Bring on next week.

And Kris' dad teared me up BIG TIME!

Hey did anyone here Constatine was nominated for a Tony award for Billy Elliott.

 

Sad as always for the person going home. He sang beautifully tonight. That song is a killer anyway. I loved it. BUT, the right two made it to the Top 2 for once! I picked Adam way back in the auditions in SF and have been a fan ever since. I know a great thing when I hear one! My other pick from auditions week was Danny so I was not too far off the mark, eh? Kris is the total darkhorse. In the beginning, while I thought he was cute, I never would have seen him heading to the finale. But he has grown so much! So, excellent Top 2!! From now on in, I honestly don't care who wins. I know Adam is supremely talented and I, of course, will be voting for him, but if Kris wins, I would like that too.

I think Danny will have a great career and be just fine. Interesting than Danny had never been in the bottom three the whole season.

I voted for Kris in the audition rounds of 15 or whatever they were doing this year. I voted for him forever. He was so nonchalant....

The other thing is that I think Danny's buddy should have been in the top 36 and thought he was fresh and new! Oh well, maybe next year!

I really liked his friend's style, too and was bummed that he didn't make it to the top 36.


I thought Kris's homecoming was the best. And his dad at the show was great, too.

I don't remember Kris from the auditions really. I do remember Adam and while I do think he is talented, still not my favorite and Danny was one of my favorites from the beginning.

As for Katy Perry, I was switching to Criminal Minds so I missed her (accidentally on purpose).

You will not be disappointed, Diane. The full version is amazing as is Cryin'. Of course, the originals are always going to be iconic and never replicated of both songs, but he did them justice on the singles. I think both Bono and ST would approve! (And I don't cotton to ANYONE else doing Aerosmith songs because Steven's voice is just amazing and hard to replicate. He is ONE OF A KIND. :wub: My only criticism of Adam's voice over Steven's is Adam's voice is too clean. He needs a little more raunch if he's going to be a Steven, lol.)

Oh, and lest I forget, I also d/l Kris' version of Heartless. Very nice!

I'm happy - my wife was sad. Next week's finale could be the best finale the show has had since I've been watching at least. One reason I think Kris deserved it more than Danny is because he's younger and more musically talented (plays both the guitar and piano). I totally agree! That was the second sold out show she has cancelled in Houston recently. I was hoping they would say something about her being "under the weather" to validate her cancelling but no..... I have decided I don't like her...

 

:yahoo: Congrats to Kris and Adam! Next week should be an awesome show. I'm so excited for Kris to be in the finals. By the looks on the judges faces they were quite surprised. I think Kris is a great talent and deserves to be where he is. I love both of them so I don't even think I'll be voting next week. I really don't care which one wins ardon: . Same as last season for me....David C or David A? I loved them both, too, and didn't bother voting. :blush:

He really has come a long way. I liked him in the beginning but he really impressed me over this last 5 weeks! He has brought IT to every week! I would be happy either way with Adam or Kris. I love them both for different reasons but I admit, I have a crush on Kris. He is a total cutey. :wub:

How about when Blake had to sing his awful Idol song. It was torture for him because it was so not him. I heard Kara was writing one of the songs, so it will be interesting to see if it is picked. Last year at least they gave them a variety of songs to pick from to suit their style.

Wasn't last year's Idol song the one that David Cook took to #1? (The Time of My Life) That one wasn't too bad. Usually they also have the music producer Clive Davis pick a song in addition to contestant's choice and the song that they both have to sing. Not sure how they're doing it this year.

 

I have to say it would be interesting to hear Adam and Kris sing the same song

Cheryl, I think that no matter how the vote goes Adam will be a SUPERSTAR ala Chris Daughtry, but I feel like he is the more talented singer. I would be really happy for Kris!!! I wouldn't begrudge him the win at all!
