So I re-watched the performances just a little bit ago (because I'm feeling icky and resting) and realized that ALL have some mouth issues, lol. Matt's got a very gummy smile and Danny has those odd little vampiry teeth. All five have got something a-goin' on there!! How funny!!

BTW, did anyone else notice the "Flat Stanley for Adam" poster at the very end of his segment? Some kid's Flat Stanley report is going to be might famous! :lol:

No because my recorder cut off They will probably only do a bottom 2 tonight. I am predicting it will be Matt and Allison in the bottom 2. And yes Kim I did notice that Danny had those Vampire teeth. However I did see a picture of Adam and Eddie Munster side by side and I have to say it was pretty close LOL.

Yes, that's it!! It's been killing me who he sort of looks like (beside the obvious Elvis thing) and it's Eddie Munster!! Hmm. Who knew Eddie could wail? :lol:

 

I saw that Flat Stanley thing, too.

I have to say, my husband has the remote right now and I am not happy because Idol is the show he is flipping to...:grr:

 

They all looked nervous tonight except for Adam until

I have to say I am shocked with where it stands right now.

I liked the opening group song. They all sounded good.

IMO, not shocking at all given the stage of the competition we're at. Someone we like is always going to be in the bottom 3 from here on out and someone we love is always going home at this point. A fact of the show.

Natalie Cole looks fantastic!

I thought so too, but I wasn't impressed with how she sounded.

I'm not surprised so far. It seems this happens every year. The clear "frontrunner's" voters get complacent because they've never been in the bottom 3 and don't think they need to vote as much. He'll stick around and have a resurgance of votes next week...

It's absolutely NOT possible. I voted for two hours straight last night. But at this stage of the game, this always happens. People get complacent and just don't vote. Or vote for someone who they think needs their votes more (*ahem* Sarah). :lol: I'm not worried because someone will snap him up if he doesn't make the cut. Think Chris Daughtry.

Taylor really lost weight. He sounded great! Not a huge fan but he does have a certain something. (Sorry, Chrissy.)

BTW, I love the new Cottonelle commercial with the dog in the bathtub. So cute!!

 

I love Taylor!!! I just do not think we need 2 Taylor Hicks as our AI.

I need a drink RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! This is stressful for me. I swear if Matt gets through and Adam doesn't I am going to hide in a dark room and cry.

I also thought the song was a little strange

 

I :wub: Jamie Foxx. He is awesome!! Great words of wisdom and advice too. He was a great mentor.

OK, Mo, I am :cry: too. I can't help it. I love each one of them for different reasons and I love the song too. Still it was the right choice out of the five. He is very talented though and I can't help but be sad. I hope we continue to hear from him. OTOH, I would have been devastated if it had gone the other way.

Blech, I hate the elimination nights. Too emotional. :cry:

It was such a good show last night. All did well in my opinion. I was shocked at Kris and Adam included in the bottom three. I thought it should have been Allison and Matt. I guess I was in the same boat as Simon this week :lol: .

Next week should be good as well. The remaining four should all do very well with Rock 'n Roll :yahoo:

 

They followed a great night of music with lousy music performances last night, IMHO (did not care for any of the trio, Taylor Hicks, Natalie Cole or Jamie Foxx). I wonder if everyone will sing two rock songs next week?

I know!! DH called last night as it was down to two and I was like "I have to call you back! Adam's in the bottom"....being a smart @$$ he said "I'll just tell you what happened!" (he's in Mass!)

OOOOH~!!! I hope so!!! I wasn't that enamored with the performances either. Natalie Cole didn't have an emotional connection to the song. Taylor's was just Alright and Jamie Foxx didn't sound like he was even singing. But he's a stud!

I was DYING to come into this thread last night as I needed the support of my fellow Idol :wub: ers but I was scared I would see what I didn't want to see. :woo:

 

We are all too emotionally contect to Idol. I think we need a support group.

I am not a fan of the over processed rap sound that Jamie Fox used last night.
