    Dial Idol is predicting
Scott, Chris and Matt will be in the bottom three and Scott is in the highest danger of going home. But they also say that anyone but ADAM could find themselves in the bottom three according to their data!

    I agree that
    Scott and Kris
should be in the bottom 2 according to last nights performances but
    Lil R
    should be the 3rd not
    Matt
    .

We shall see in a few minutes

Of course they had Adam sit right back down on the couch.

That first person in the bottom 3 shocked me especially when they had
    Kris
    sit down with Adam

How sad was tonight :( Glad they did not waste the save though. This is the only person that has gone home that I have been sad about.

And hands down Adam is the best for Idol. I think he blows Daughtry out of the water.

am I on her alone tonight?

    It is sad to see
    scott
go but it was time.I can't believe how close the vote was between the bottom two and I cant believe
    Lil R
    is still here.

Again I did not like the "singer" they had on tonight

I am always sad at this point when anyone goes home because there is usually something I like about them each and I know this is their dream. Definitely tears me up.

BTW, Kellie Pickler was awful. Egads!

It tears me up, too. But, just being in the top ten is an amazing opportunity for all of them. They are all talented and hold a bright future. It is always heartbreaking to watch the expressin on their face when they are told they are going home.

Do you really think they were going to keep him or just making him think they were. It was nice they made him think they were though. And Simon was still sticking it to whats her name that got the boot last week LOL.

Has Kelli Pickler had some work done since last season??? She does not even look the same. She definatly has new boobs.

I did not watch the season she was on.

She was not all that great to me at least that song. It sounded like she was yelling most of the song and in the parts that were lower she seemed like she could not hit the key.

Yes, Kelly got them done! Also, lost some weight.

I feel bad for Scott, but I agree that he should have chosen another song....

I am SO glad Scott is gone. Sorry guys, he drove me crazy! The hair, the crazy faces and the fact that I was worried EVERY week that he was going to fall off the stage.

And Chrissy about Kelli, I told my Dh that the whole time she was on! She does not even look the same in the face, she has had some kind of plastic surgery! Why would she do that? She was pretty before...Cant sing for s*** but pretty

I missed a lot of the show last night, but did I read correctly that Frankie Avalon also sang on the show? If so, are they trying some kind of reverse age experiment where they'll keep bringing on older singers and advisors as the year progresses? Or was it a love duet with a 14-year-old to creep more folks out? Why don't they just bring 99-year-old Dolores Hope on the stage to rekindle her singing career and celebrate once and for all the singing achievements of the soon-to-be centenarians?

Anyone catch what next week's theme is?

They were still in the "Year you were born" theme so they brought Frankie on to sing a song that came out the year Simon was born. At first it was just an old video but then the screen split and he walked out to continue the song. I think Simon was surprised.

Okay my last internet 'rumor' was way off but a quick search shows me Entertainment Weekly says the theme is Songs from Movies. I'm not going to stake my reputation on it however. No song list from me this time I promise.

I was crying last night. Not that I didn't think it was probably time for him to go, but it was sad. Hey, at least he's still on the tour! I didn't think Anoop deserved to be in the bottom three last night. I thought he did a good job Tuesday night and Kris should have been in that seat.

Her face looked totally different, around the nose and eyes. And she sounded like she was screeching last night.

Yeah, I definitely thought Kelli had some work done, she looks completely different! Her singing was off too... I like Red High Heels much better from her.

I was boo hooing when Scott got the boot... I knew he needed to go... but it was emotional.

I loved Adam last night, not very often that you see Mr Cowell on his feet clapping!! Wish they would leave enough time to give everyone comments though. Would have loved to hear properly what they all thought of Adam and Matt. I really shouldnt look here till a saturday lol always find out whos gone before ive watched the show! At least it was scott that went this week think he was getting a little bit out of his depth x

I didn't get to hear Adam's performance, my DVR quit recording right as he was starting... I guess that means the show ran over a few mins.

I got this from http://mjsbigblog.com/. This is MJ's dream list for Idol tonight. :) He has links to the videos of these songs on his blog too.

    QUOTE
    * Adam Lambert -Street Life by Randy Crawford - Jackie Brown - Dancerific!
    * Allison Iraheta - Baby it's You by Smith - Death Proof - Allison, getting all torch! or If Love is a Red Dress from Pulp Fiction
    * Anoop Desai - Strawberry Letter by Brothers Johnson - Jackie Brown - Imagine Anoop's smooth vocals wrapping around this
    * Danny Gokey - Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmerelda - Kill Bill - A plea to all who criticize his dead wife pimping ways.
    * Kris Allen - Lonesome Town by Ricky Nelson - Pulp Fiction - Watch the fangirls swoon!
    * Lil Rounds - Let's Stay Together by Al Green - Pulp Fiction - An opposite gender pick might help Lil escape the karaoke label. Or, she could just butcher it.
    * Matt Giraud - The Love You Save (may be your own) - by Joe Tex - Fits right into that cozy R&B box the judges built just for Matt

Do the songs tonight all have to be from Tarantino flicks?

  32. Chrissy Nelson

I doubt all the song have to be from his movies. He has some great movies but that would not give alot to pick from.

This should be interesting. I don't think they've done "movie songs" before, have they? I'm not sure I recognized any of those songs mentioned in the previous post! Maybe once they're sung they'll sound familiar to me  .

Why would Quentin Tarantino be the mentor? Does he have a musical background that he can help give them constructive criticism?

That's what I was wondering! Just because he's a director doesn't really make him THAT qualified, does it?
