Poking around the Net, I found this rumored song list for tonight. Take it with a grain of salt - sometimes these lists are spot on and sometimes they're all wrong.

Kris - Heaven
Lil - Let's Hear It For the Boy
Adam - Edge of Seventeen
Scott - You're the Inspiration
Anoop - Who's Johnny
Matt - Part Time Lover
Allison - Tears in Heaven
Danny - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

However if true, we do get some Queen just not from Adam. I'm not sure which version of Heaven that is (maybe the Bryan Adams one?). Lil's choice would set her up for disaster IMO. I LOVE Adam's song but it doesn't lead well to the falsetto. I will be asleep again during Scott's song. I'm not sure I know the Anoop song. Bad song choice for Matt. Allison - finally a ballad but all I can think is DAMN she's young.

So much for this list - first two singers have sung different songs. I missed the very beginning of the show - how was Danny able to sing Stand by Me? That came out in the 60s.

Scott was just horrible, what in the heck was he thinking!!! It was almost like he was playing guitar hero LOL.

Kris was not all that tonight, neither was Danny.

Lil was alright, Anoop was pretty good. I enjoyed Allison tonight. Matt was good, I was not as excited as the judges were though.

ADAM rocks out so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Adam doesn't win this whole thing, there is something seriously wrong. He is just amazing and for Simon to give him a standing O--WOW!!!!!!!!

Danny did not sound good. Goodness I can't even remember the song he sang and I am listening to Kris right now. forgettable

Kris stunk. The women did not even know how to move to the tune he was singing it in

Lil -- Wannabe is the only word I can think of. She keeps saying each week "I promise you I'm listening to the judges and I can make that change" and she does not.

I am sick of hearing Paula's broken words and sentences. She seems scared to say the words she wants to say

Anoop better than the first three and he sounded nice but not a "WOW that was great performance"

I think (the writers or) Ryan was trying to make more of Anoops comment from last week than what it was

Scott sounded better than last week but still made me grimace a few times. He looked a bit goofy standing up there playing the guitar.

Allison sounded very nice tonight. But she has done so much better with other songs. It was not a "WOW that was great performance" .

Matt.. this is his style of music! There was just 2 parts (words) of the song that I did not like but he deserves a WOW that was a great performance!

Adam what a clean voice. I was waiting for him to make it more him and he did it perfectly. #1 of the night AWESOME! WOW! GREAT!

Not by a mile. He is BRILLIANT, absolute GENIUS!!!!!!!!

Matt and Allison were both very good too. I have not seen the others yet as I was at choir practice. But I've seen the best, without a doubt!!!!!!!

Dialing my fingers off for ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok...so Adam is winning me over. :) I enjoyed him today and agreed with Simon.

I still like Danny, Kris, Adam and Matt. The others..just dont do it for me. I think Alison is good, but with her voice, it seems like she can really one do certain songs.

I am rooting for Adam and Danny in the finals.

I thought Matt was really good. Alison, too. Danny and Lil I liked (I guess there was a version of Danny's song done the year he was born). Sorry, I find Adam to be odd, strange, bizarre and I just don't like him. I lked his last two weeks, but didn't like this week. Not my kind of performance.

Sorry Danny does the same thing every week. That had to of been the worst version of Stand By Me I have ever heard. The finals has to be Allison and Adam.

Kris was bad this week but I think he is musically better than Danny and has more commercial appeal.

Just because I've always loved the Bonnie Raitt song my favorite of the night was Allison. Does anyone know that song Adam sang? Any YouTube or other links to the original? Adam obviously was great but Anoop and Matt also did well and my wife liked Danny as usual. Bottom three were Scott, Lil and Kris and I'd be shocked if someone else besides one of those three goes home.

I think Scot's going next. And poor Lil! She needs better help choosing her songs.

I loved Matt tonight!

Adam, of course, is going to win. There's no comparison. He's in a totally different league than everyone else. Even for those who don't love his style, there is no doubt that he is gifted.

I am sure someone will post Adams performance on You Tube soon

I think I liked Anoop the most tonight. One of my all-time favorite songs and I liked her slightly contemporary take on the song. Adam - not really sure I know that song at all. It was okay but more Broadway than rock and roll. Allison again was good (and yay she finally did a ballad!) and Matt was better than I might have expected. The others were all bad in my opinion although Danny was definitely better than the others.

I hope, pray, plead that Scott or Lil go home. Matt and Allison don't deserve to be there although I'm convinced Allison will have the biggest commercial success of any of these eight so she doesn't need to win this to become big.

And oh, no more song lists (although one of them was right at least!)

My DH said that the minute his song was over. He is really something special.

I voted for Allison, Matt (he was excellent too- who would have thought that Part time Lover could sound good?), Kris (still think he has potential) and of course ADAM!

It will be on my FB in the morning!

Seriously, Adam is light years beyond any of them, even Allison. His vocal prowess is just outstanding! He knows how to interpret a song and show off his beautiful voice to its best. He is just in a league way above the average contestant.

BTW, my DVR cut off too. I wanted to rewatch and couldn't. But you should have seen me when Simon  stood up to give him a Standing O!! I was up punching the air screaming, "Yes, yes, yes!!" I think my family thought I'd lost it there for a minute. :rotflmbo:

I now have my DVR to stop recording American Idol 15 minutes after the slotted time!

I cannot get enough!! I personally think he is the best contestant EVER to be on any season of AI by a clear mile!

Dial Idol is predicting
Scott, Chris and Matt will be in the bottom three and Scott is in the highest danger of going home. But they also say that anyone but ADAM could find themselves in the bottom three according to their data!

I'd have to think about this for a little bit to see if I agree or not. There were moments last year when I might have thought either of the David's (Cook or Archuletta) were among the best ever (David Cook singing Hello or Billie Jean or David A. doing Imagine?) and Daughtry had some amazing songs and I also really liked Katherine McPhee a few years ago almost all season but especially with her version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Elliot Yamin doing A Song for You by Donny Hatahaway in season five stands out in my mind as one of the best songs ever.

I first started watching it in season 4 (Carrie Underwood) so I never saw anything by Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aitken, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson or Ruben Studdard live. Overall though, I have to say Carrie Underwood and David Cook were the best I've seen on Idol from start to finish but Adam probably has a chance to pass them. He certainly hasn't had a bad week yet (unless you count his Johnny Cash song), but I'm not sure if he's had a greatest performance on Idol ever moment yet.

I totally loved (love!) both Chris Daughtry and David Cook too. They were (are!) outstanding too (and my two favorites along with Adam) but I'd put Adam's voice up against either of them any day. Clay Aiken, Ruben, Fantasia, even Jennifer Hudson, while all outstanding, are totally not my genre so are not even on my radar, nor is Carrie Underwood. All stunningly beautiful singers though. And at least in Carrie's case, beautiful people too, inside and out.

For me, Adam is just overall the strongest vocalist (in a style I love) and it makes him a total standout! He has not had a bad performance yet and I happened to have loved his Ring of Fire rendition. He is unique, has an incredible range and just the most mesmerizing voice. He knows how to interpret a song and has flawless instincts. I think he is amazing. His Tracks of My Tears performance was probably one of my top Idol performances ever along with last night (and the week before and the week before . . . ;) ).

I would have to add Jason Castro's rendition of Hallelujah as one of my all-time favorite Idol performances too.
