9 year old girls Holiday gifts

Ugh Zoe gave me an entire list and Allison cannot think of ANYTHING.... help.

 

Do they not like any of the same things, so you could sort of use some of Zoe's list for Allison, too? At nine, Sage would have liked (or got and liked) American Girls dolls, a camera, anything crafty, basic sewing machine, music (both downloads and piano sheet music), MP3 player, books, coupons to get out of chores, gift card for picking out her own clothing, Wii games.

 

One of mine is getting art/craft supplies and the other is a big reader, so she is getting a variety of books.

 

This website has some GREAT craft ideas for girls that age. When Josie was 9 thats what she liked (those friendship bracelet wheels and such).

What about some of this kind of stuff from Justice?

Josie also loved all the neat mismatched knee socks. Is she into reading? Right now Josie asked for the Dork Diaries and likes those a lot.

 

Ally just turned 9, and all she really wants is a cell phone. I looked into it, and even a cheap prepaid phone is still $10/month, more than I want to spend just for her to take to Girl Scout meetings once a week.

Sooooo, we got her a Hello Kitty purse, Hello Kitty pj's, a kit to make 3 kinds of jewelry, a zhu zhu puppy, a school logo shirt, and a dog marionette puppet (been asking for a marionette for YEARS). The little things for her stocking are: couple pairs of fun socks, a pair of earrings, a monkey shaped notebook, and some novelty candy.

Santa is bringing a wooden bunk bed for her Our Generation (target's AG knockoffs) dolls.

Aw man, now that I've typed all that out, I realized I need to pick up 2 more things for my son...and I thought I was done, sigh.

 

Electronics is always a big hit with that age. I think the girls were 9 at Christmas when we got them a cell phone (just a basic one they could text and call with.....smart phone came just within the past few months). Nintendo DS, iTouch or iPad, camera.... ALso, thse crafty things Jen posted. My kids still like making those friendship bracelets, anything with beads.... Plus the Justice stuff too. Earrings, bracelets, lip gloss.......

 

Zoe is really into Cars. I ended up getting her clothes, board games, art set and then the xbox kinect.
