You poor thing; you have been through the wringer! My Jack sounds like your son. He'll eat from the bottle pretty well. But your daughter is like my Nate. I cannot get him to eat more than 1 oz from a bottle. I think Nate also has a bottle-aversion going on. I did get him to take almost 2 oz from a sippy cup yesterday with some coaxing.

I can still breastfeed him when I'm home (and he's not biting!), but my supply is so low that he barely gets an ounce or two per session.

Have you talked to the ped or nutritionist again? I know you were given a feeding schedule they wanted you to try, but can you ask for a follow-up?

I always wondered why they don't make flavored formula. It smells and tastes kind of icky, so I'm always surprised when a baby will drink it after tasting solid foods.

You're doing a great job; I know how hard it is!! I wish you continued luck and keep us posted!

A couple of other thoughts would be to change the temp of the formula/milk and see if they take it any better. Also, have you tried something like Pediasure?

    Thank you.
I spoke to different pedi and they all say different things, so I decided I will do what I think it's right for them. If DD does not want formula, I will give her cereal mixed with formula with spoon, pretty much every food I add some formula powder(oh, it looks and tastes awful) but if this the only way to give her some formula so be it.
The schedule nutrisionist gave me did not work- when they eat solids, after 2 hours they would not take their formula( I am speaking about DS). So I am back to my old schedule.

I have pedi appointment in few weeks, so will see if they are gaining any weight.

I noticed that DS likes it cooler, when it is too warm he vomits it out. DD she does not care at thsi point.
Pediasure? Can I give them at this age?
