    Hi,
I posted about a week and a half ago about my DD having a stomach bug....Well Guess What??? DD is finally over it and DS caught it too and has had it now for a week! It's totally strange that DD was more of an upset tummy but, DS is throwing up...once or twice a day usually after he eats someting. We've cut out all diary and are just giving him pedilyte, toast, bananas, crackers, cheerios. Today he seems to be doing better(knock on wood!)
Now he is just really whinny and won't play but a few minutes then he whines and crys to be held then he whines to be put down but, then crys again to be picked back up! Will This EVER end??? Am I doing something wrong? Now, I'm scared too death DD will catch it back! I've bleached everthing in sight and used a whole can of lysol spraying it on everything too!

Thanks for letting we vent & ask questions! I'm just an exhausted & drained Mommy :lazy:

 Uugh! I am so sorry! That's the thing I hate about a stomach virus, it has to go through everybody. I can't ever decide if it's worse to have it at the same time, or worse to stagger it and have it for a month in the house.

It will. My boys both had a stomach bug that each lasted a week and a half (and they were NOT concurrent!) last month, but they're finally better now. Thankfully, we've never yet "recaught" something here. I suppose it's not impossible, but usually with viruses, it's unlikely. Hang in there- glad the little guy is improving!

We had that same thing happen last year a couple weeks before Christmas. First one had it, then a couple days later, the other got it, then I got it a couple days later, and then a couple days later, DH got it. After we were over the worst of it, I cleaned the house up and down. Then a week before Christmas my mom came to visit and she got it. We were supposed to have Christmas dinner (all of the relatives over 20+ people) and everyone was supposed to stay overnight. We reconsidered that idea when some people who came early started getting symptoms. When it was all said and done, over 1/2 of the people that came to the house got it, and all of the people who stayed overnight at the house got it. I felt horrible. But, the reason that I am sharing this is because the boys, DH and I never got it again even though all of the germs seemed to remain around for almost a month.

I know dealing with toddlers when they are sick is tough, especially when you are dealing with whiny children constantly with limited amounts of personal sleep. Dig deep and find the patience. It will be over soon!! It sounds like you are doing everything right, and being an AWESOME mommy!! Good luck!
