Yikes! My babies are going to be here today!

Last Friday, I found out I was scheduled for a c-section for next Wednesday (12/10/08). I was just there for a NST so no one checked me.

I had a dr's appt on yesterday (Tuesday). My dr checked me and I was 100% effaced, 2-3 cm and Baby A's head was really down low! He asked whether I would want a c-section today or tomorrow! I was hoping I was showing something because it has felt like a hand, foot or head was just going to fall out the last couple of days. I had a c-section with my son and Baby B is head up, so that is why the repeat c-section.

So now, I have to be at the hospital at 10 am for my 11 am c-section! It is kind of scary when you lose the last week! I am excited, but scared for the girls to get here!

When we picked DS up from daycare, I told him that he gets to meet his sisters' tomorrow. I asked him how many he was going to get. He said 2, 4, 8 and then held up 5 fingers! We have also been watching Shrek 3 and Shrek the Halls a lot lately, so I am hoping he doesn't expect his babies to be green!

 

Wow that is a little scary! I hope she doesnt tell me that on Thursday when I go in b/c mine is scheduled for next week also and I NEED this last week/weekend. When I go in Thursday I will also be 37.1 weeks!
But its kinda fun that the waiting is over and they are ready! My baby b is also head up which is why the c-section also.

Pretty much ditto this :lol:

I've got a c-section scheduled for the 10th as well because baby B is breech. Though I just saw the Dr. yesterday so I don't go in again until Monday. So unless something drastic happens I'm not likely to lose that last week. That would freak me out a little!
