You know how we always brag about the things we accomplish alone with two babies/toddlers? I just want to brag on my DH's behalf. He takes them out to the park alone all the time, but he's never attempted anything bigger than that. Yesterday, he took them to the children's museum all by himself, and they had a great time! He was nervous, but it went great. (And it's obvious what the most interesting part of the trip was for the twins. I asked them what they saw at the museum, and DS said, "Babies!" and DD said "Kids!")
:woohoo: Go Daddy! Go! :woohoo: That is a great accomplishment! Of course the best part of the museum was the babies and kids, what else is there?
Good for him!! I wish my DH would actually follow through with plans like that. He always says that they are going to have a fun "boys day", but that usually involves him watching football and me chasing after them. I will have to suggest an outing for them for this weekend. Love the comments from the kids! What did you do with your "spare" time?
WOW!!! Way to go dad! By the time I get back from my 50 minute run on Saturday and Sunday mornings DH has usually already changed shirts at least once due to the massive sweat that he breaks into the moment he is left in charge. Furthermore, I usually run into the three of them on my way back from my run - they are almost always waiting at the entrance to our cul de sac. DH, running out of ideas and desparate for my return, resorts to walking them to "where we can meet up with mommy". Maybe next time I will try just waving and running right by them and ACTUALLY FINISH MY RUN! Can you loan out your DH?
That is an accomplishment! Mine took the girls to the zoo once and I was very surprised. I can't wait for him to be in charge for the whole weekend!
